Best Captains for EURO Fantasy Matchday 6

We continue our coverage of the summer tournament by picking out the best captains for EURO Fantasy Matchday 6. Using form, underlying stats and other factors we reel off some of the best captains for the final day.

Figuring out the best captains for EURO Fantasy Matchday 6 could be vital to the overall success of your round. Captaincy has been difficult to nail down this campaign so picking a successful captain is even more important this week.

Wednesday July 10th

After a disappointing night for the France defenders many EURO Fantasy managers will be hoping to secure a good captaincy return tonight. There are plenty of good options to consider on the final day so let’s take a look at some of them now.

Although offensively disappointing England have shown they can score goals when needed. They also come up against a Netherlands side who far from convinced against Poland, Austria and Türkiye defensively which could make them a defence to target.

Picking out an England attacker may be difficult but based on his two goals scored already and penalty duty Harry Kane (€11m) seems like the obvious pick. Kane continues to lead the England attack and so cements his position as a good option for captaincy.

Defensive assets have eclipsed attacking players in the campaign so far. So, some may be looking to an England defender in order to play captaincy safe. This is also a very strong strategy this week and one that centre-back Marc Guehi (€4.7m) could fulfil.

Guehi returns from his suspension this week so should come straight back into the starting XI. As well as clean sheet potential against Netherlands Guehi has also produced between 8-11 ball recoveries in every match played so far.

An alternative captaincy option could be England midfielder Jude Bellingham (€9.5m). Bellingham has netted twice in the tournament and also has gametime on his side, something his teammates lack.
