Best Bundesliga Fantasy Players for Matchday 29

Get ready for the new round of Fantasy Bundesliga right here! Millions of managers are struggling to nail down a transfer plan this week, but fear not! @Big4FPL comes in to reveal the Best Bundesliga Fantasy Players for Matchday 29!
Another round of European action is coming to a close as I write this article, which means another Friday night Bundesliga deadline – and inevitably more rotation chaos from Bayern, Frankfurt and Dortmund. I’m 30th overall going into the week after a couple of bad weeks, (Ostigard and Matsima killed me last week) but a few strong differentials could help me reel back in the top of the pack.
With that being said, here are some of my top picks for this week:
Defenders
Eric Smith – 8m

Earlier in the season I owned Eric Smith as he seemed to bring a decent floor, set pieces and a defence that although wasn’t amazing (Pauli are in a relegation scrap), hasn’t really conceded a lot of goals. Last week Smith finally showed some of that promise with an assist, and I’m backing him to haul again with a match vs Kiel.
Maximilian Mittelstädt – 17m

The Stuttgart picks will be prevalent this week, and rightly so with the form they have been in. Whilst Grimaldo has struggled, Mittelstadt has thrived and after a week off through suspension I expect him to come back firing on all cylinders at both ends of the pitch.
Mitchell Weiser – 13m

I tend to include selections for the short term, but Weiser could be a great pick up to carry form through the rest of the season. We know he has hauls in his locker and the next few matches are the perfect chance to catch some of these.

Midfielders
Alexis Claude-Maurice (ACM) – 6m

Augsburg were unlucky vs Bayern as they looked much the better team in the first half, returning to a more mediocre opposition in Bochum, I can see the budget enabler being back to his best and chipping in with 200+ points.
Florian Wirtz – 20m

Recommending the most expensive and best player in the game may seem counterproductive, but this week is probably the only chance to own him whilst others don’t. He is just back from injury and may start on the bench, but I have a feeling with Leverkusen’s recent struggles he may be thrown straight in there against a Union team that can be tough to break down…maybe don’t star him, but certainly consider getting Flo back in.
Ritsu Doan – 10m

Doan just seems to be Mr consistent at the moment – although Freiburg haven’t been amazing, they haven’t been bad either and I like Doan to give a solid, reliable pick amongst a week that could be chaotic with European rotation and fatigue.
Forwards
Danel Sinani – 4m

A new budget enabler has revealed himself up front in recent weeks in Sinani, at a lowly 4m he is averaging over 100 points which is better than a lot of strikers have given us in recent weeks (I’m looking at you, Schick) and a match vs Kiel means whether you plan to start him or hold as your bench striker he’s a worthwhile punt.
Nick Woltemade – 9m

Although Woltemade is playing more as a 10/second striker, he has formed a great partnership with Demirovic. Stuttgart seem to have found their feet in recent weeks, especially with a cup final to look forward to, so I’m backing the Stuttgart duo to deliver again (See next pick…)
Ermedin Demirović – 10m

You guessed it, the man who got a hattrick last week, this seems like a hindsight pick but I really think Stuttgart have found their form again and if your budget allows I wouldn’t be opposed to getting both Stuttgart strikers in this week to ride their high.
