Fixtures
Below we can see the ticker in order of fixture difficulty. The teams at the top have the easiest fixtures and the teams at the bottom have the toughest fixtures.
Chelsea
Chelsea got off to a slow start this season but managed to bounce back from their Gameweek 2 defeat to West Ham by dismantling Luton 3-0 in Gameweek 3. The Blues have sustained some solid numbers both defensively and offensively ranking in the top four teams for big chances total (11), shots in the box conceded (22) and shots on target conceded (eight).
Nottingham Forest lay ahead who have been ropey in terms of results and because of that look like a team to target from a Chelsea perspective. Those looking to invest in the backline could opt for the likes of goalkeeper Robert Sanchez (£4.5m) and centre-back Levi Colwill. However those looking for a defender with attacking threat could select Malo Gusto (£4.1m). The full-back managed a double-digit haul in his latest game with the help of two assists.
There is also one option in attack many could look to. Enzo Fernandez (£5m) is known as a central midfielder but has been advancing into some great attacking positions. Amongst midfielders he also ranks in the top 10 for crosses (17), chances created (eight) and big chances created (two). In addition to that Enzo also takes corners and free kicks but also the last Chelsea penalty giving him multiple routes to points.
West Ham
West Ham have started the season in fine form. The Hammers have taken two wins from their first three matches but it was the opposition they had that makes it more impressive (Brighton and Chelsea). In fact both of their victories came in the form of 3-1 wins.
Luton could be a fantastic fixture to attack as a potential West Ham investor. The Hatters lost both of their first two matches scoring just one goal and conceding seven. They have also sustained some of the worst defensive and offensive stats in the division so far.
The cheapest way into the defence is goalkeeper Alphonse Areola (£4.1m). Areola has racked up a huge 18 points (six on average per game) without keeping a single clean sheet. Another interesting defensive pick is Emerson (£4.5m). The left-back has already managed to created four chances and one big chance and could have a great chance at a clean sheet and an attacking return against Luton in Gameweek 4.
In terms of attack one player does standout above the rest and that is striker Michail Antonio (£6m). He leads the West Ham frontline and so far has collected two returns in his first three matches. Another good option could be midfielder James Ward-Prowse (£6m). The maestro takes the Hammers set pieces and has proved himself as a solid FPL asset. Ward-Prowse banked returns in both of his last two matches as well.
Arnaut Danjuma
Everton have lacked some serious quality at the start of the season but they have a great opportunity to get some points on the board this week. The Toffees face Sheffield United this week who have conceded some seriously poor defensive data.
So far this season the Blades rank the worst for shots in the box conceded (46), the worst for attempts conceded (70), second worst for shots on target (21) and second worst for attempts from set-plays conceded (18). With this in mind it could be a great chance for new signing and midfielder Arnaut Danjuma (£5.5m) to convert his impressive attempts total tally.
