Match reports can be helpful in identifying key moments in matches. This can then give us as FPL managers a good insight into which players and teams looked good, key injuries, fitness and even more to help us make decisions in FPL.

Line-ups-Aston Villa

£5m midfielder Leon Bailey drops to the bench to the disappointment of his managers. At the time of writing the winger is owned by 17% of FPL players. £7m striker Danny Ings also starts the match along side fellow forward £7.4m Ollie Watkins.

Everton

New signing defender £4.9m Coady starts for his debut. £5.5m midfielder Gordon also starts who many FPL managers will be keeping a close eye on along with £5.5m midfielder Gray. New signing £5.5m midfielder McNeil also starts.

Key Moments

  • £5.5m midfielder Gordon prodded his finish into the opposition net after a corner in the box but the goal was ruled offside.

  • Watkins really stood out. He assisted both goals and took home all bonus points meaning he came away with 11 points for his first double digit return of the season.
  • £6m Buendia only played 30 minutes but still hit nine points for his assist and also took away three bonus points with Watkins.
