STRONG FIXTURE

LIVERPOOL

The midweek matches close with Liverpool hosting the struggling Newcastle. Most FPL teams will have at least two of the Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota trio, with Salah a strong captaincy favourite. It remains to be seen whether Jurgen Klopp will heavily rotate this Christmas but, with Salah and Sadio Mane snatched away from him for a month, he will want every minute he can get from them.

MAN CITY

Almost as strong is the champions’ at home to Leeds, who pulled off a shock win at the Etihad Stadium in April. As always, the main question involves Pep Roulette and the general spreading out of attacking returns. If you can pick the right one of Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden, Ilkay Gundogan, Jack Grealish, Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez at the right time, well done.

MAN UNITED

Life under interim manager Ralf Rangnick continues with a trip to Brentford, who may still be without Covid-stricken Ivan Toney. With Cristiano Ronaldo supported by the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes, they should, theoretically, have a wonderful attack. If they can shore things up at the back, assets like David De Gea and Diogo Dalot could gain popularity for this exciting run of fixtures.
