FPL Gameweek 26 Review

Gameweek 26 brought another green arrow, albeit a small one. Starting John Lundstram paid off in the end, as did keeping the faith with Sadio Mane. It was another captaincy blank, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin brought in big points.

Leicester assets have frustrated but faith has to be kept with Norwich coming up in Blank Gameweek 28. Danny Ings finally brought in some points and the fixtures look excellent.

FPL Gameweek 27 Team

Kevin De Bruyne keeps his place after an excellent performance last week and a rumoured Double Gameweek on the horizon. Dean Henderson has a looming blank, but will be kept for this one. Lundstram is given a start in the hope that Chris Wilder will do the same.

There are issues in defence, with Mason Holgate suffering poor fixtures. No money in the bank means there’s little flexibility, but Roman Saiss is targeted as the best defender at £4.5 million or under, and crucially he has a fixture in the big Blank Gameweek 31.

Captaincy was between Salah, Mane and Ings. The Liverpool midfielders seemed like a safe bet, and with Salah being on penalties and having a better home record, it was an easy choice.

The team is ranked at 297,588 with 1,471 points. All chips are still in tact except the Triple Captain. Team value lies at £105.9 million, with £0.1 million in the bank.
