Notes
- It’s Limitless week for me, with Matchday 5 targeted for my wildcard.
- Double Arsenal and triple inter make up the majority of my defence. This is asking for boom or bust.
- In midfield it’s a lottery of a lot of players. Some notable mentions that may make my final draft include; Olise, Yildiz, Merino and Bellingham.
- Up front I could quite easily have gone with Kane, Mbappe and Haaland, but I’m going to take a punt with their tough fixtures and just go for one of them, it’s pretty close between the three of who I opt for.
- Captaincy will be Saka/Gabriel/Alvarez on day 1 followed by Yamal/Dumfries on day 2.

- For MD4, this is my current thinking. The plan is bring in double Arsenal, in Saka and Timber, along with McTominay for a -4 in preparation for LWC in MD5.
- I have given thought to using LWC in MD4 and have come to the conclusion that it will have more upside next MD.
- Currently I have captaincy on Saka for Day 1 and Haaland on Day2 if needed!
- Some players I am still looking at are, Osimhen, Hoijlund, Alvarez and Nuno Mendes.

- Its the final Matchday before my WC5, and I don’t need many adjustments as I feel already well set up. My only guaranteed transfer will be getting rid of either Barcola or Olise in order to buy Nicolas Pepe. Villarreal have been quite unlucky with their draw, having faced teams from Serie A and the Premier League in the first three MDs. An away bout at Pafos is perfect for the Spanish side in order to get back into the competition for a playoff spot, and Pepe is probably their best offensive asset (especially in midfield).
- The other transfer will be used to deal with likely rotation. We’ll know Arsenal’s line-up before the deadline, while Inter could also rotate quite a bit.
- Either Calafiori or Bastoni could go for a player wearing the same kit, as I do want at least one Arsenal defender and two of Inter’s.
- My two goalkeepers clash on the same day, so it would be fitting for me to get Sanchez from Chelsea (the best defensive fixture apart form Inter’s on the 5th).

- Although I picked a green arrow up to 25K, I could only field 10 assets which is an issue that I should either accept, take a hit or activate a chip, to sort it out.
- I don’t like the WC drafts I have put together because they aren’t a massive upgrade on my current draft!
- Having Calafiori, Huijsen and Acerbi means I’m waiting for team news and predicted line-ups before I ditch one out for Gabriel, that’s locked in transfer unless Calafiori starts!
- Adeyemi is my second transfer out, probably for Yilidz, Paixao or McTominay. If Hakan is predicted to start I’m tempted to move Olise out to Kvara as he’s in-form and I like the PSG attack for rest of the league phase.
- Captains Day 1 Mbabpe Day 2 Yamal.

- My current chip strategy is LL5 and WC7. So, I will focus my transfers on teams with favourable fixtures in both MD4 and MD6.
- I’m thinking about doing Guirassy to Alvarez. However, I’m 0.9m short. I won’t be able to make the move unless I downgrade elsewhere.
- Therefore, Olise to Kudus will likely be my second transfer.
- There’s also a chance I sell Calafiori if he doesn’t start this week.
- Alvarez will likely be my captain.

- The plan is to make three or four transfers depending on rotation and injuries.
- I’ll transfer two of my three Sporting players because they keep blanking.
- If we get news that Vini is predicted to be benched, I’ll consider doing: Suarez, Quenda, Adeyemi and Vini to: Haaland, Calafiori, Akliouche and Fermin with three free transfers, and (-4) it’ll give me a very good team for MD4 before my MD5 Wildcard.
- The goalkeeper situation: I’ll keep Garcia (who is injured) and Vicario and hope for a spurs clean sheet.
- Captaincy: Day 1: Gabriel if he starts or Kane/Mbappe Day 2: Dumfries/Haaland.
