Notes
- With Berardi soon to be back, my team (apart from Sava, not a starter anymore) is about to be done with injuries. So, I can start focusing on improving my key players.
- Di Lorenzo is taking a lot of budget out of my team which I want to invest in a more appropriate way. Bastoni is leading defenders in terms of points, so he feels like the best premium defender in the game. And, I only need to invest 0.5m in order to make the upgrade.
- Captaincy will go to Carnesecchi, Paz, Yildiz, Bastoni, Circati/Orsolini, Pavlovic, Masini/Berardi: plenty of opportunities for a double digit captaincy haul.

Notes
- Six of my squad played fewer than 40 minutes in GW9 as rotation hit the midweek schedule. So, I wasn’t too disappointed with my final score of 59 points.
- My team is now largely free of injuries (with the exception of Domenico Berardi and Keinan Davis, both of whom I’m hoping will be fit to return to action at the weekend). So, I’m hoping to make a proactive move for once this week!
- Mario Gila appeals if I make a defensive transfer. Matias Soulé also remains firmly on my radar if I go for a forward, despite Roma facing Milan this week.
- Captaincy in order will go to Marco Carnesecchi, Nico Paz, Kenan Yıldız, Francesco Acerbi, Giovanni Simeone, Riccardo Orsolini (if he actually starts for once!) and Luka Modrić or Soulé, depending on my moves.

Notes
- It feels like no GW goes past without an injury in this fantasy game. Since WC in GW5, every transfer out was an injured player and this week there is no difference as Davis and Gila (who I just bought in this week) got subbed off with a knock.
- I will keep an eye on their availability and, based on that, my transfer will be used on one of them.
- Berardi wasn’t in the squad on Thursday night. But, I am positive he is going to be back on Monday. As for players to buy this week, for defenders, I am looking at Bastoni or Coco to replace Gila (if confirmed out) and in the front line. Maybe Simeone from Torino could be an option or even Lautaro, but his minutes are a worry when Thuram is back.

Notes
- After looking at my team and weighing up options, I think I have come to the conclusion that having two free transfers next week is where I want to be.
- As well as injuries not being as clear as I want them to be, and players I want having tough fixtures, there is also a fixture swing next week to manage.
- There are several options I have considered though. One of them is to bring Bastoni in for Di Lorenzo. Di Lorenzo has been stinking up my team for a while. The only issue is, where do I want to put that budget. I could upgrade as mentioned, or downgrade and bank some cash. Either way, I’m just not convinced yet.
- I will continue to weigh up moves though. Let’s see what happens.
- Good luck this week!
