Fantasy WSL 2025/26 Gameweek 6 Team Reveal

@Schurrle_FWSL Fantasy WSL 2025/26 Gameweek 6 Team Reveal is here, and with five exciting rounds behind us, managers are starting to spot the trends that can define their season.

In this article, Joe will be sharing his latest team reveal for Gameweek 6, looking at the key players I’m backing, where I see the biggest opportunities, and the transfers that could make the difference this week.

Team Reveal

Gameweek 5 was another above-average week for my team, scoring 53 points to push my rank up to 126th overall. It was a difficult week, with no clear favourites in any game, so I’m very happy to get another green arrow. Here’s how my team is looking ahead of gameweek 6:

Goalkeepers

No issues for me in goal this week. Szemik missed out on her visionary points at the weekend after failing to make the required three saves, but she remains a nailed starter until that status changes.

Defenders

McCabe keeps her place despite being benched midweek against Lyon. I’m a little nervous about her minutes going forward, but I’m backing her to start on Sunday. Arsenal’s home record against Brighton is excellent, and McCabe produced two assists in this fixture last season.

Olivia McLoughlin also keeps her spot, even after two consecutive blanks. She’s now firmly established in Leicester’s midfield despite being listed as a defender, and she retains her visionary status — hopefully this is the week she rewards that faith. Joining her is the ever-reliable Anna Sandberg, who scored 11 points from my bench last week. United’s fixtures look brilliant, and Sandberg has been one of their standout players so far.

Both of my transfers this week have been used on defenders. Wassa Sangaré (£4.0m) replaces Maz Pacheco, who seems to have lost her place in Everton’s lineup, while Kerstin Casparij (£7.0m) comes in for Marisa Olislagers. Sangaré gives me another visionary option at the back while banking the extra £0.3m gained from Pacheco’s price rises. Casparij adds attacking potential, with two goals and two assists already — more xGI than any other defender in the game.

Midfielders

Villa’s fixture run looks strong, and Chasity Grant continues to impress at right wing-back. A home tie against Leicester offers another chance to turn that promise into attacking returns. She starts alongside Ella Toone and Mariona Caldentey, the two highest-scoring midfielders in the game this season. Both are undroppable for me right now.

Ornella Vignola moves to the bench despite scoring last week, as Everton host Manchester United on Sunday. Freya Godfrey stays third on my bench while she continues to build match fitness following her injury.

Forwards

Bunny Shaw takes the captain’s armband this week. The Jamaican leads the league for xG this season — helped slightly by three penalties — and has an incredible record against Liverpool, scoring nine goals in the last four meetings. Aggie Beever-Jones partners her up front, ranking second for xG and first for non-penalty xG in the league.

I did consider activating The Wall chip since I’m playing a 5-3-2, but I’ll likely hold off for a future gameweek with more home fixtures in defence.

Best of luck for this gameweek, everyone!
