With FPL Gameweek 6 Fixtures Ranked, we can get a clear picture of which teams are best to target and which to avoid. Looking at the schedule this way helps highlight the strongest opportunities for points, making it easier to plan transfers and captaincy picks.

In this guide, we’ll run through the standout fixtures, potential traps, and the sides most worth backing this week.

Fixture Ticker

Using the Fantasy Football Scout Fixture Ticker, we can see that teams with best fixtures are positioned near the top, whilst the teams positioned towards the bottom have the worst fixtures.

Who has the best fixtures?

Edging every other side and ranking at the top of the ticker is Manchester City. After early losses against Tottenham and Brighton, Manchester City could do with banking all three points this week. This is highly likely as they come up against newly promoted Burnley.

Another side who have struggled early on this campaign is Nottingham Forest. A change of manager could mean we see an entirely new way of player from them. Regardless, they will still be expected to sweep upcoming opposition Sunderland aside.

Not many expected Bournemouth to perform the way they have this season. The Cherries may have lost key assets at the back but wins against Wolves, Brighton and Tottenham suggests they may prove a lot of people wrong. Gameweek 6 sees them meet with Leeds next, so their good start to the season may continue.

Other teams with green (good) fixtures include:

  • Everton v West Ham
  • Tottenham v Wolves
  • Brentford v Manchester United
  • Aston Villa v Fulham
  • Chelsea v Brighton

Who has the worst fixtures?

Crystal Palace sit bottom of the fixture ticker in Gameweek 1. The Eagles are yet to lose a competitive game of football, and that has been the case since April. That may well change this week as they take on last season’ champions Liverpool.

Newcastle are another side who have it tough in the round ahead. It has been a slow start to the campaign from Eddie Howe’ men, and that could continue as they meet with Arsenal. Prior to their game against Manchester City, the Gooners won all but one of their matches to nil.

Many may be surprised to see Burnley above the likes of Crystal Palace and Newcastle on the ticker this week. The newly promoted side are yet to prove they have the quality to stay in the top flight this season. Little is likely to change in Gameweek 6 with Manchester City up next.
