Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 4 Team Reveals

Notes

  • I’m still inside the top 1,000 despite not owning Grimaldo for his mega haul.
  • It’s back to 442 with Guirassy and Kane leading the line.
  • In midfield, I have a bit of a punt with double Leipzig but both players have solid baseline stats.
  • In defence Muheim comes back in after an awful score vs Bayern, hoping he bounces back against Heidenheim
  • Kane, Olise and Muheim get the star multipliers.

Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 4 Team Reveals

Notes

  • Formation: 4-4-2.
  • Goalkeepers: Ramaj (6.52 – HEI) & Backhaus (5.01 – SVW). Ramaj and Backhaus are still the cheapest starting goalkeepers and both did actually really well last MD. So, there’s no reason to change them.
  • Defenders: Grimaldo (19.81 – B04), Chabot (8.69 – VFB), Muheim (8.68 – HSV), Couto (7.1 – BVB) and Oppie* (6.81 – STP). Buying Grimaldo might be a bit of a kneejerk move but he seems to do well for duels and his upside is undeniable. Chabot has nice fixtures coming up, wins a good amount of duels and has a high points average. This bodes well for price rises. Muheim against a weak Heidenheim is close to a lock for me. That is even if he doesn’t take as many set pieces as before. After his good performances lately, I can’t see Couto getting dropped anytime soon, so there is no real reason to sell him. Even though Oppie disappointed against Augsburg, he is still one of the best defenders for his price. Lukeba, Torunarigha/Vuskovic and Bensebaini, who is on pens now, are other options I’m considering for this week.
  • Midfielders: Olise* (26.2 – FCB), Doan (16.32 – SCF), Vieira (9.02 – HSV), Baumgartner (8.31 – RBL) & Kaminski (7.39 – KOE). Perma-star Olise and Doan with a nice home fixture are going nowhere. Vieira is a bit of a punt as it is still unknown how well he will fare in the points system after a tough away game against Bayern. A home fixture against pointless Heidenheim and being on a large portion of set pieces might be enough for me to pick him. Baumgartner and Kaminski complete my midfield with Baumgartner showing a good floor of points against Mainz despite no G/A and Kaminski just keeps on scoring and rising in price. With Kaminski’s questionable floor of points I’m also considering going for the safer Wimmer instead of Vieira, even if he has a tough away fixture against Dortmund.
  • Forwards: Kane* (25.5 – FCB), Leweling (8.68 – VFB) & Sinani (8.76 – STP). Kane showed us again why he’s close to being essential and will be my star captain this week. While I would like to have Guirassy, he doesn’t have penalties anymore, is expensive and blocks Grimaldo. Additionally, I am quite happy with the combo of Leweling and Sinani next to Kane in a 442. They are nailed 90-minute men, have a good floor of points and their cheaper prices mean that they shoot up in price.

Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 4 Team Reveals

Notes

  • It was another great Matchday, but Grimaldo killed my rank.
  • This week I will buy him, Manzambi and Gnabry will go and I am thinking about Mbangula and Majer instead, along with Quansah and of course Bernardo. I’m thinking Coulibaly and Muheim instead.
  • This week we could see some surprises in line-ups from Bayern, but I will still star Kane (after his outstanding performance against Chelsea) and Olise in midfield.
  • I’m thinking Grimaldo as a defence star and hope for another 2800+ points to catch the upper rankings.
