Saudi Fantasy Round 2 Team Reveals

Round 2 is here, and after an exciting start to the new campaign many managers are already looking to tweak their squads. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at some Saudi Fantasy Round 2 Team Reveals, highlighting how managers are lining up, which players are attracting attention, and the early trends that could shape your decisions for the upcoming fixtures.

Saudi Fantasy Round 2 Team Reveals

Notes

  • Most positions remain unchanged from Round 1, maintaining a solid and balanced squad.
  • Goalkeepers remain the same as Round 1: Bono as main GK and Zaid as bench cover. The goalkeeper for Neom is injured, and the newly signed Neom goalkeeper could be a potential bench cover if needed.
  • Defence: T. Hernandez was replaced by J. Cancelo before the kick-off of Round 1. The premium backline remains unchanged with Cancelo, Hoedt, Ibanez.
  • Midfield key changes before the kick-off of Round 1: Batna, Sbaï, and Savic were replaced by Félix, Neves, and Fortounis.
  • The only additional transfer made for Round 2, is Bayesh as he’s on penalties.
  • Despite Benzema’s injury concerns during training, he’s under a medical program, so it’s too early for a transfer.
  • Camara, now at Al-Nassr, is still held as a budget forward option unless a more nailed player is found.
  • C. Ronaldo is with the captaincy armband, playing at home against Al-Kholood.

Saudi Fantasy Round 2 Team Reveals

Notes

  • After a disastrous GW1 I’ve been forced into activating my Wildcard after just one week.
  • The International Break and transfer window which is still open in Saudi Arabia has caused chaos- especially with Al Shabab going through a bit of a rebuild.
  • I’ve built a side which (hopefully) will be robust over the coming weeks to build transfers, gain information and we can then plan accordingly.
  • Until then, we have a few hedges which I’m comfortable with considering alternatives.
  • Hopefully Ronaldo can limit the damage he will inevitably cause. Joao Felix is my captain this week after his wonderful start to life in the SPL.
  • I’ll also replace Benzema if confirmed out.

Saudi Fantasy Round 2 Team Reveals

Notes

  • For Gameweek 2, the choice was very easy: Buschan Al-Shabab GK left the team so I had to sell him immediately, with a horizontal move towards Grohe.
  • Captaincy goes to Mane Vs Kholood who conceded five goals in GW1.
  • The opening round was kind of average, hopefully we bounce back.

Notes

  • This is my current set up, I think I’m rolling the transfer this week.
  • There are plenty of players I do like that I haven’t got though, so let’s take a look at them.
  • Goalkeepers: Between the sticks, Grohe remains a reliable pick with his ability to secure man of the match bonus points. Alongside him, Kewin is a great option for save points, often picking up bonus even without a clean sheet.
  • Defenders- In defence, there are several standout names: Boushal – the most attacking defender in the Al Nassr squad. Theo – proven in Serie A, known for his forward runs and attacking output. Harkass – an attacking left-back who scored last gameweek and looked lively going forward. Balobaid – a new addition who could regularly rack up defensive bonus points. Z. Hawsawi – very attacking from left-back, though his minutes aren’t fully secure just yet.
  • Midfielders – Bergwijn – on penalties and a constant threat in the final third. Batna – arguably the most skilful player in his team, capable of unlocking stubborn defences. Brownhill – the Championship’s top scorer last season. Wijnaldum – on penalties, playing out of position, and always involved in attacks. Mané – nailed in the XI, with the 2nd-highest xGI in his side last season Malcom – central to Al Hilal’s attack, heavily involved in their chance creation.
  • Forwards – Up front, the big names stand out: Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7) – my top pick: nailed, on penalties, plays for one of the most attacking teams, and has excellent fixtures. Lacazette – looked sharp last game and could be a great value pick.

Notes

  • I won’t make a change this week.
  • Ronaldo will be my captain against Kholoud, who is a standout option.
  • I will be patient with Nunez and Hamdallah for now.
