FPL Gameweek 2: Top 10 Predicted Points Scorers

FPL Gameweek 2: Top 10 Predicted Points Scorers gives Fantasy Premier League managers an early look at the players expected to deliver the biggest hauls in the second round.
Using the latest data and projections, this list highlights who the algorithms believe will lead the way in points. This will help you spot potential captaincy options and strong early-season picks.
6-10th
Let’s start this off with 6-10th, commencing from the latter:
- Gabriel – £6m – 4.7 points – Arsenal will be hoping to make it back-to-back clean sheets in their opening two rounds. Set to benefit from that is centre-back Gabriel who faces newly promoted Leeds up next.
- Antoine Semenyo – £7.1m – 4.8 points – After a scintillating opening round and two goals against Liverpool, Semenyo looks set for more success. Bournemouth face Wolves at home, which could be a fantastic opportunity for him.
- Eberechi Eze – £7.5m – 4.9 points – Crystal Palace don’t have it easy in Gameweek 2. However, after a Community Shield win against Liverpool and holding Chelsea to a draw in the opening round, the Eagles and their talisman could have potential against Nottingham Forest.
- Ollie Watkins – £9m – 5.0 points – FPL managers will be hoping for a much better week from Ollie Watkins. Fortunately for Unai Emery and his men they come up against a Brentford side who shipped four goals in the first Gameweek.
- Martin Odegaard – £8m – 5.2 points – Arsenal’ fixture against newly promoted Leeds holds huge potential for their attackers. One of them is Norwegian maestro Odegaard who has been key for the Arsenal frontline for some time.

5th – 5.5 points

It was a rough opening round for Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres (£9m). The Swede picked up just one point on his Premier League debut against Manchester United, but with Leeds up next, he is expected to bounce back.
4th – 5.9 points

Coming in at fourth for Gameweek 2 is Mohamed Salah (£14.m). The Liverpool midfielder struck late in his match against Newcastle, rewarding owners who had waited patiently for a return. This week Salah meets with Newcastle who could limit him.
3rd – 6.0 points

Cole Palmer (£10.5m) breaks into the top three for Gameweek 2. Chelsea failed to convert against a stubborn Crystal Palace side, so the Blues will be looking to find the net this week. West Ham lay ahead, a side who were dismantled by Sunderland 3-0 in Gameweek 1.
2nd – 6.6 points

We continue to see high projections for Arsenal players. The London based club could have huge success against Leeds in the round ahead, and another player who should benefit from any goals scored is midfielder and part-time penalty taker Bukayo Saka (£10m).
1st – 6.7 points

Topping every other player for predicted points in Gameweek 1 is Erling Haaland (£14m). The Manchester City penalty taker bagged two goals versus Wolves away from home. It could be a problematic clash with Tottenham next up under new manager Thomas Frank, but the predictions suggest otherwise.
