Club World Cup Fantasy Matchday 7 Differentials

Looking to gain an edge? Then our Club World Cup Fantasy Matchday 7 differentials could be exactly to climb the ranks.

Differentials are players with under 5% ownership. If successful, differentials can help you boost up the ranks, with the help of scouting bonus (which is an additional two points).

Beraldo

PSG have evidently progressed to the final, and whilst a lot of that is down to their excellent frontline, their defence can also take a lot of credit. The French side have accumulated a huge five clean sheets from their first six matches.

With the above in mind, buying into the PSG defence could be hugely beneficial this week. Finding differentials for the final is difficult, but Pacho’ recent red card means centre-back Beraldo could be the best of the bunch. Beraldo has little to no attacking threat, but potential scouting bonus means he could finish the game with a better score than his defensive teammates.

Levi Colwill

PSG have been exceptional from a defensive perspective, but Chelsea haven’t exactly poor either. The Blues have produced a clean sheet in three of their six Club World Cup matches, so you can’t completely rule a clean sheet out in the final.

Unexpected things happen in major finals often, so we could well see centre-back Levi Colwill (€5.3m) among the points. Colwill missed the previous game due to suspension, but is likely to return to the starting line-up for the final. He also isn’t shy of attacking potential either – his goal on the final day of the Premier League season reflects that.

Bradley Barcola

Finding a midfield option in either attack with under 5% ownership is extremely tough at this point of the competition. The French side are a must from an investment perspective offensively, and have plenty of attackers who could benefit.

Interestingly, although failing to start both Goncalo Ramos and Bradley Barcola (€8.2m) came on to produce a goal contribution, which is common with the PSG attackers. Taking that into account, backing Barcola even if he doesn’t start the game, could lead to success.

Moisés Caicedo

Very often central midfielders can be excellent differentials. Their position on the pitch makes them an instant put-off with fantasy managers and that’s exactly where gains can be made. Take PSG’ Joao Neves and Fabian Ruiz for example.

Both Ruiz and Neves have managed goals in the tournament already, both have managed more than one attacking return in truth, so why can’t Chelsea’ Moisés Caicedo (€5.7m) be an option? Fantasy managers may think that Caicedo is short of attacking threat, but he produced an assist in his recent game against Benfica and scored in the Conference League final against Real Betis.
