Top 10 Fantasy Bundesliga Points Scorers 2024/25

The final balls of the season have been kicked and the final points have been awarded. Now managers can look back on the season and discover the top 10 Fantasy Bundesliga points scorers 2024/25, counting down from 10.
To do this, we bring in Fantasy Bundesliga expert @Big4FPL. Before we dive into the top 10, he discusses some notable mentions.
Notable mentions
- Tom Bischof – 6,241 points – Our 5m budget darling when we thought there were no obvious budget picks at the start of the season comes in 12th overall in the rankings.
- Jamal Musiala – 6,120 points – There is no doubt that Musiala would be cracking the top three if he was fit all season. Averaging 245 points, Bayern’s star was a force of nature during the season, whilst he was available.
- Hugo Ekitike – 5,869 points – A man who regularly made our teams, especially once Marmoush left the league. It again demonstrates the striker troubles with this system that the man with 15 goals and eight assists could only just crack the top 20. A great asset nonetheless as he often returned over 100 without a goal or an assist.
10. Harry Kane – 6,344 points

If you ever needed an illustration of the new scoring system not helping strikers, Kane at number 10 is the prime example. Kane had another stellar season where he hardly missed a game, scoring 26 goals with a further nine assists could only bag Kane the number 10 spot at an average points per game of 205.
For reference this average would only put Kane at number 15 if we were ranking points per game! We can’t ask for much more from Kane. But, maybe we can hope the game next season can help him be higher in these rankings with the same output…
9. Romano Schmid – 6,509 points

I was somewhat surprised that Schmid squeezed into the top 10. He is a prime beneficiary of the new scoring system as a duals beast whilst also making plenty of forward passes.
In addition to this, he chipped in with five goals and four assists, with his consistency being the key more than his attacking contributions.
8. Maximilian Mittelstadt – 6,738 points

Mittelstadt slowly became the premium defender of choice as the season progressed – despite being a in a Stuttgart team that was conceding for fun and barely winning. His tendency to contribute to attack and win duals meant he was another of the players in this game who consistently hit the 200 point mark.
The German is potentially one to keep an eye on next year if Stuttgart can return to last seasons form with no European pressures.
7. Granit Xhaka – 6,791 points

Just securing the 7th spot over Mittelstadt is another Mr Consistent – Granit Xhaka. Xhaka showed us exactly what this scoring system was about in the first Friday night game of the season. There he produced a 370 point haul. Despite it looking increasingly likely we won’t see Xhaka in the Bundesliga next season, he’s probably a player many regret not having for the first few weeks of the season as he returned 200 pointer after 200 pointer.
6. Alejandro Grimaldo – 6,816 points

Last seasons fantasy goat, Grimaldo turned into a bit more of a troll this season. Two goals and seven assists was still meant a fine season, and the weeks he hit these returns meant big scores for the wing back.
But, the scoring system meant he was a bit more inconsistent in hitting the heights of last season. 6th is still very respectable so it wasn’t all bad news. But, I think all players who stuck by Grimaldo hoped for a little bit more.

5. Ritsu Doan – 6,986 points

Doan was this seasons consistency darling in a great campaign for Freiburg. Many (myself included) overlooked him too often during the season thinking he couldn’t keep delivering.
10 goals and seven assists was a great return and more than most predicted, and is another on this list who may be moving this summer. Though hopefully it’s within the Bundesliga for more of us to keep picking him next year!
4. Mitchell Weiser – 7,150 points

Early in the season when Bremen were struggling, I never would have thought Weiser would end up 4th in this list. He had a storming MD1 and MD7, but that was also combined with a 95 pointer, 32 pointer and not forgetting the red card and further suspended matches.
With all that being said, it shows the sheer explosiveness of Weiser to still get to 4th despite this. The system worked a treat for the wingback. He bagged a 391 pointer vs Leipzig despite no attacking returns being a highlight – not to mention the five goals and eight assists across the season.
3. Joshua Kimmich – 7,529 points

Kimmich being in the top three only raises one question for us next season…how are we going to pick three Bayern players from Kimmich, Kane, Musiala and (spoilers) the top two on our list if he ends up moving to Bayern as is rumoured. Not to mention Upamecano and Davies who would likely be in this top 10 if they were fit all season.
Mr reliable played almost every game and constantly returned the magic 200 point mark. This was despite it not being his best season from a goal/assist output. It’s one to monitor next season if he comes in the cheapest of the Bayern midfielders by a sizeable distance.
2. Florian Wirtz – 8,356 points

There is no doubt this man would have been our number one if he was fit the whole season. Averaging a staggering 270 points a match (The highest points per game of everyone in this list), there was no denying that Wirtz was worth the 20m price tag. It says a lot when he is over 800 points higher than number three. This is the case despite being injured for five matches of the season.
Michael Olise – 8,814 points

Far and away our number one this season with an unbelievable 12 goals and 15 assists in his first campaign in the league – and that’s even more impressive when Kompany was hooking him at 60 mins the first quarter of the season and benching him in others when rotating.
Olise’s final four scores of the season were 435, 406, 478, 406…1,725 points! That’s 32% of Kane’s season score (The top scorer in the Bundesliga and number 10 on our list)!
