In goal Everton’ Jordan Pickford (£5.1m) could be a great pick. The Toffees come up against the worst attack in the league next in Southampton, which could give Pickford solid potential.
In the unlikely event Pickford does not feature, Chelsea’ Robert Sanchez (£4.5m) could be a good back-up. He faces 16th place Manchester United.
In defence, the super attacking Daniel Munoz (£5.2m) could be a shoo-in against Wolves at home. Munoz bagged a huge 11-point haul in his previous match with the help of an assist and clean sheet. Another player who has multiple routes to points, Josko Gvardiol (£6.5m) heads into his match against Bournemouth off the back of bagging three returns in his previous four outings.
Clean sheets are very difficult to predict as of late, so backing against a poor attack could be a wise play. Doubling up on the Everton defence with Vitalii Mykolenko (£4.3m) up against Southampton is an aggressive way to boost your rank due to their low ownership.
Nottingham Forest’ Neco Williams (£4.5m) and Wolves Rayan Ait-Nouri (£5.1m) could be great back-ups if any of the starting three fail to feature.

Bryan Mbeumo‘ (£8.3m) recent form makes him a shoo-in – with six returns in his last four matches alone. He faces a ropey Fulham defence up next. Another player who could be seen as an essential is Chelsea penalty taker Cole Palmer (£10.5m). He faces a Manchester United side who have conceded 13 goals in their last five games.
Another player in fantastic form, and arguably Crystal Palace’ most in-form player currently is penalty taker Eberechi Eze (£6.9m). Eze has netted four goals in his last four matches heading into the clash against a poor Wolves defence. Eze is joined by Mohamed Salah (£13.7m). The lack of options elsewhere and spare budget makes sticking with the most consistent asset in the game an easy decision.
Southampton are also awful defensively, which makes them a great team to target with attacking assets. A fantastic option off the bench if needed is Everton set-piece taker Dwight McNeil (£5.1m). He has scored and assisted in his last two games.
Up front, Aston Villa’ Ollie Watkins (£8.9m) could have massive potential. Aston Villa are chasing Champions League football, so motivation is high. They play Tottenham who have shipped a huge 14 goals in their last five outings.
Similar could be said for Nottingham Forest penalty Chris Wood (£7.1m). European football is already guaranteed for his side but Champions League football is not. Wood returned to form after scoring in the previous round, and this week he faces a poor West Ham defence.
Completing the frontline, and facing fellow relegated side Ipswich, Leicester will want to end the campaign on a high. The same could be said for penalty taker Jamie Vardy (£5.3m). Vardy also goes into the next game in form – having scored and assisted in his previous two fixtures.
