Millions of managers are struggling to put together a transfer plan ahead of the new round. To help with that, we show you the top 10 predicted player points for FPL Gameweek 37.
Knowing which players are going to return the big points can help bring clarity to your team, captaincy and chip plans, which can help propel you up the ranks, so let’s count down from 10th.
6th-10th

In at tenth is Morgan Rogers with 4.48 points. This week Aston Villa have another great opportunity to push for a Champions League spot, as they come up against a ropey Tottenham defence. Rogers heads into the game after securing six points in the previous round.
Jarrod Bowen also makes the top 10. Prior to Gameweek 36, the West Ham talisman banked two goals and two assists across three matches. Nottingham Forest at home won’t be easy, but it’s still a chance for Bowen to return.
It’s no surprise Everton feature this week. The Toffees come up against a poor Southampton defence, the worst in the league in fact, so their attackers have huge potential. Among their attackers, Dwight McNeil could be the best of the bunch after producing a goal and an assist in the previous two matches.
Wolves rank among the worst sides in the league for total goals conceded thus far, so Crystal Palace are another side who could have offensive success. Penalty taker and main man Eberechi Eze looks set for another return.
The 3-1 loss to Everton highlights how poor Fulham have been recently and Gameweek 37 sees them up against the free-flowing Brentford attack. 31 points in his last four league matches reflects Bryan Mbeumo’ current form going into the clash.
5th – 4.91 Points

Sneaking into the top five for a second successive week is Leicester striker Jamie Vardy (£5.3m). Recently revealing he would leave the Foxes at the end of the campaign. Vardy will want to see out his Leicester career on a high, and that may not be difficult to do with a game against the poor Ipswich defence.
4th – 5.24 Points

With Champions League qualification on the line, Arsenal need points on the board. That may be difficult with Newcastle next, who are also chasing the same target. Attacking output has been largely poor in the league from midfielder Bukayo Saka (£10.3m). So, will Saka make it seven consecutive blanks?

3rd – 5.33 Points

Bursting into the top three is Aston Villa main man Ollie Watkins (£8.9m). Watkins is likely to go into the next game with lots of confidence after scoring against Bournemouth to secure European football for his side. A Champions League spot for next season is still up for grabs though, and a result against a woeful Tottenham backline could mean a step closer to that goal.
2nd – 6.03 Points

Liverpool have already won the league so there are question marks over their motivation going into the remaining matches. That may be the case bit Brighton have far from convinced recently which could mean potential for penalty taker Mohamed Salah (£13.7m).
1st – 6.59 Points

Edging every other player for predicted points this week, and considerably ahead of Salah, is Cole Palmer (£10.5m). The Chelsea midfielder is one of several players to hit 200+ points in FPL already this season, and a home match against Manchester United appears to be a fantastic opportunity for him to add to that.
