FPL Planning for Gameweeks 37-38

Fantasy Football can be super fun, but it can also be daunting for managers looking long-term. This is something many have a problem with. However, to help with that, we take a look at some FPL planning for Gameweeks 37-38.
Here you will learn which teams have the best fixtures, the best players to buy, and whether we could use a chip.
Gameweek 37-38 Fixtures
Below we can see the Fantasy Football Scout Fixture Ticker in difficulty order. The teams at the top have the easiest fixtures and the teams at the bottom have the toughest fixtures.

Who has the best fixtures?
Ipswich, Arsenal, Everton, Aston Villa and Bournemouth all rank among the top five teams with the easiest fixtures.
Who has the worst fixtures?
Brighton, Southampton, Crystal Palace, Newcastle, and Fulham all rank among the bottom five teams with the worst fixtures.
Best players to buy

- Manchester City – In fantastic form and with matches against Bournemouth and Fulham, Manchester City assets could be some of the best to buy. In defence, goalkeeper Ederson (£5.3m) is a cheap route in, but the standout is still Josko Gvardiol (£6.4m) due to attacking potential. Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne (£9.6m) is in great form with just two matches of his Manchester City career to play. The return of striker and penalty Erling Haaland (£14.8m) could make him a shoo-in for many FPL managers, as costly as he is.
- Wolves – Five wins in the last six games and fixtures against Crystal Palace and Brentford could bring about success for both defensive and offensive assets. Whilst goalkeeper Jose Sa (£4.4m) and full-back Nelson Semedo (£4.5m) are viable options, but nowhere near as attacking as Rayan Ait-Nouri £5.1m) who is arguably the best of the bunch. There is a lack of midfield options, but up in-form penalty taker Matheus Cunha (£7.1m) should be a priority, whilst teammate Strand Larsen (£5.3m) is a cheaper route into attack.
- Brentford – Brentford are another side FPL managers should look to. The Bees meet with both Fulham and Wolves which could offer up potential. Goalkeeper Mark Flekken (£4.4m) and centre-back Nathan Collins (£4.6m) could keep clean sheets, but it’s there attack that holds the most potential. Striker Yoane Wissa (£6.8m) is in great form, and offers an additional route into the frontline outside of standout performer and penalty taker Bryan Mbeumo (£8.2m).
More great picks

- Liam Delap (£5.6m) – With Leicester and West Ham, Ipswich penalty taker and main man Delap could force his way out of the club in the summer with an impressive end to the campaign. He faces two of the worst defences in the league statistically.
- Bukayo Saka (£10.3m) – A home match against Newcastle then a game against the worst defence in the league could mean huge potential for the Arsenal attack. The Gooners will want to guarantee Champions League football and Saka will likely enforce that.
- Morgan Rogers (£5.7m) and Ollie Watkins (£8.9m) – Aston Villa are another side pushing hard for European places. They play Europa finalists Tottenham and Manchester United next, both of whom have been significantly poor this season defensively. Both midfielder Rogers and striker Watkins have proven to be Aston Villa’ most effective attacking options.
- Chris Wood (£7.1m) – With 19 goals under his belt, the Nottingham Forest penalty taker has had an exceptional campaign overall. Forest will hope to also cement a European position against West Ham and Chelsea, two sides have have failed to convince from a defensive perspective.
Should I play my chips?
Yes! If you have any chips remaining then using in the final two Gameweeks should be considered a must. Doing so could potentially boost both your rank and mini-league position as the season comes to its close.
