Serie A Fantasy Round 36 Team Reveals

Notes

  • Lots on the line for myself, as I have a positive chance to get a top three position in the “Quad” league. I also want to keep my top 10 OR rank.
  • I have no idea where to use my free transfer: Milan could rotate against Bologna, so Pulisic and Theo don’t feel safe before knowing some team news, Fiorentina could rotate and Dodo is back but I do not know whether he will play 90 minutes after Thursday.
  • In attack Atalanta players and Thuram have very mixed fixtures. My idea is to maybe make a defensive transfer if I don’t trust Dodo to get a full 90. If he seems likely to start, I will probably move a midfielder and take a wild punt on a differential.
  • Captaincy is likely on Napoli defence, again.

Notes

  • After a small green arrow last round, my team looks good for a roll this week!
  • Hopefully Strefezza comes into the line-up after his goal off the bench last weekend. If he’s likely to start from the bench again I might take a chance on selling Zaccagni for a punt in midfield chasing the upside for the remainder of the season!
  • Di Lorenzo will be my captain again, which he automatically became last week after Sommer’s benching.

Notes

  • There is quite a lot to consider this week: Do I play both Atalanta players against a solid Roma defence? Will Milan rotate with a Cup final after this? Will Kean even play? So, setting out a solid plan right now looks very difficult.
  • In terms of Roma, I don’t have defence, so it makes sense to back the Atalanta attack at home. I’m still not sure on starting both, so either Lookman or Retegui could come out. It is dangerous though, because if they haul I’m in trouble. And, I’m 15th in the world, so I’m not keen on taking massive risks.
  • I have two free transfers to use, but there aren’t many punts. I don’t mind selling Maripan for Goldaniga. Como have two great fixtures ahead and they have been solid defensively.
  • That move would block me from taking punt on teammate Ikone though. I think I need a defender more than a midfielder this week, so I could look elsewhere, maybe even a punt on a Parma midfielder.
  • I could even play Kalulu, because Lazio just aren’t convincing at all.
  • Captaincy could go to Di Lorenzo, or maybe even Goldaniga if he comes in.
  • Good luck!

Serie A Fantasy Round 36 Team Reveals

Notes

  • Another average/poor round for my team (again) which means going ultra differential on the WC wasn’t a good idea, as it’s very unlikely I’ll get to the top 20 now.
  • With two FT’s I’ll get some template players.
  • Thuram won’t start in my opinion, so I’m getting Retegui.
  • Coco has some tricky games coming, so I’ll probably get Angelino back.
  • Captaincy: GDL/Goldaniga.
