Serie A Fantasy Round 34 Top Picks

Not sure who which players to sign this week? If not then you’re in the right place. Our expert @FPL_Crisk shares his Serie A Fantasy Round 34 Top Picks.

Sharing two of the best picks to buy in each position, Crisk aims to help fantasy managers boost their rankings before the end of the season. So without waiting any longer, let’s dive in.

Goalkeepers

Michele Di Gregorio (€5.8m – 18.4%)

Serie A Fantasy Round 34 Top Picks

Juventus will play tonight (Wednesday) against Parma, so it is hard to predict their line-up for the weekend match when they host bottom of the table Monza. For this reason, Di Gregorio is my safe bet. Tudor doesn’t seem to be rotating the goalkeepers as much as Thiago Motta.

David De Gea (€5.2m – 40.6%)

Serie A Fantasy Round 34 Top Picks

Fiorentina are another team yet to play in Round 33. The delay of their match in Cagliari has made it so that the weekend derby against a very week Empoli falls between two midweek matches. I’m not expecting rotation, since Fiorentina are in contention to play in Europe for the fourth year in a row. But, De Gea is a great pick nonetheless as he is second in the game only to Svilar and Milinkovic-Savic between goalkeepers.

Defenders

Giovanni Di Lorenzo (€7.4m – 58.8%)

Napoli rank first on the fixture ticker, and have just climbed back to the top of Serie A. So, I’m keeping their best performing defender here in the top picks. Buongiorno’s injury status is (at the time of writing) still uncertain, but I would still bet on Serie A’s best defence against a Torino side, who will be slowed down by a midweek match against Udinese.

Theo Hernandez (€7.6m – 59.0%)

Serie A Fantasy Round 34 Top Picks

Two double-digit hauls for the French left back (now wingback) in the last four matches makes him a very interesting pick, especially when playing against Venezia. To add context, his last double-digit haul before his recent stretch of form goes back to January. The new 3-4-2-1 formation has benefited Hernandez quite a bit, as he’s got more freedom to make attacking runs while a CB can cover a bit more the space left open in his usual position.

Midfielders

Tijani Reijnders (€6.8m – 36.0%)

Unnoticed by many, the Dutch midfielder ranks as the best performing midfielder in the game, barely edging Lookman and McTominay. His minutes are as guaranteed as it gets, and he can boast an impressive 10 goals and three assists. The recent change in formation has only benefited Reijnders. In his last two matches he’s the Milan starter with the highest number of both shots/90 and xG/90.

Gustav Isaksen (€5.0m – 1.8%)

Coming at a very low price for a top team winger, Isaksen has scored some pretty important goals for Lazio this season. Lazio face Parma during the weekend, with both teams also busy with matches tonight: this helps Isaksen the most, as he’s suspended and will be fresh and ready to go on Saturday.

Forwards

Moise Kean (€5.8m – 69.6%)

Serie A Fantasy Round 34 Top Picks

As long as he doesn’t get injured/suspended tonight, Kean is just as good to go next Round, with a home match against Empoli, who have only managed six points since December 13th. Since then, they also are the second worst team for goals conceded, second only to Monza.

Dusan Vlahovic (€10.6m – 45.6%)

Speaking of Monza, Juventus will be hosting them next Round. Vlahovic had some trouble at some point in the season due to the signing of Kolo Muani, but new manager Igor Tudor is a massive fan of the Serbian striker, who is now nailed to start. Vlahovic is yet to score, but has provided three assists in the first three matches for the Croatian manager, two of which against Lecce granting him a double-digit haul.
