Best Players for FPL Blank Gameweek 34

If you landed on this page, you’re probably not sure who to buy this week. If that is the case then you’re in the right place. This is because we reveal the best players FPL Blank Gameweek 34 with the most potential right here!

Blank Gameweeks are hugely important for FPL managers, so knowing who to buy can be crucial, so without any more fluff, let’s jump straight in!

Wolves

Wolves stand out as one of the best sides to invest in this week. In great form, Wolves have impressively won their last five consecutive matches. This week they come up against the already relegated Leicester, who continue to produce some of the worst defensive and offensive data.

At the back, arguably their best defensive option is Rayan Ait-Nouri (£4.9m). As well as clean sheet potential the Algerian has amassed 10 attacking returns this season, which is the joint highest in his position.

10 goals scored in their previous five games makes the Wolves frontline a good option. FPL managers will likely flock to main man and penalty taker Matheus Cunha (£6.9m) due to back-to-back goals in his previous two matches. However, teammate and fellow striker Strand Larsen (£5.4m) has netted five goals in his last five outings.

Fulham

Another side FPL managers should look to is Fulham. The Cottagers haven’t pulled up any trees recently, but they could offer huge potential across the board this week. This is primarily due to their fixture against Southampton, another side who have already been relegated to the Championship.

Naturally, most will be drawn to full-back Antonee Robinson (£4.8m) and rightly so. After all, the American international has levelled Rayan Ait-Nouri with 10 goals and assists this campaign. However, out of position and playing in the front three Ryan Sessegnon (£4.1m) could offer more excitement.

Although the Fulham midfield is short of convincing options, the injury to Rodrigo Muniz has opened up an opportunity for Mexican Raul Jimenez (£5.3m). He may be out of form, but Jimenez faces the worst defence in the league next, so don’t be surprised if he has plenty of success.

Newcastle

FPL managers may be quick to forget that prior to their devastating 4-1 loss against Aston Villa in the previous round, Newcastle beat Manchester United 4-1 and Crystal Palace 5-0. That is the type of upside the Magpies can offer up going into any given week.

We could well see another big victory from them this week, and even a clean sheet. Full-back Kieran Trippier (£5.6m) is one of their most attacking options, his recent assist shows that. But, centre-back Fabian Schar (£5.5m) has scored in each of his last two matches, proving to be a major goal threat.

On major goal threat, there isn’t anyone more dangerous than penalty taker Alexander Isak (£9.5m), who could arguably be an essential this week. Another of Newcastle’ most in-form attackers is Harvey Barnes (£6m), he has produced two double-digit hauls in his last three outings.

More players with huge potential

There are plenty of great assets for FPL managers to choose from this week. Brentford come up against a tough Nottingham Forest defence, but that may not be enough to stop the in-form penalty taker Bryan Mbeumo (£7.9m) from having success.

Chelsea have been far from convincing in their efforts to secure a top five spot as of late. But their last gasp winner at Fulham in the previous round could instil extra belief and motivation against Everton. One player who could have a major influence on the game is penalty taker and midfielder Cole Palmer (£10.6m).

As well as Liverpool’ Mohamed Salah (£13.8m) who is a must-have this week, other assets like West Ham midfielder Jarrod Bowen (£7.5m) v Brighton, Brighton midfielder Kaoru Mitoma (£6.4m) in the same game, Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood (£6.9) against Brentford and Bournemouth midfielder Justin Kluivert (£6m) versus Manchester United could also have huge potential.
