FPL Planning for Gameweeks 34-36

Fantasy Football can be super fun, but it can also be daunting for managers looking long-term. This is something many have a problem with. However, to help with that, we take a look at some FPL planning for Gameweeks 34-36.
Here you will learn which teams have the best fixtures, the best players to buy, and whether we could use a chip.
Gameweek 34-36 Fixtures
Below we can see the Fantasy Football Scout Fixture Ticker in difficulty order. The teams at the top have the easiest fixtures and the teams at the bottom have the toughest fixtures.

Blank Gameweek 34
This week four sides do not have a fixture, thus have a Blank Gameweek. Those teams are Arsenal, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Manchester City.
Double Gameweek 36
What we can’t see on the fixture ticker, is the potential double Gameweek in Gameweek 36. Teams likely to double in 36 include Bournemouth and Manchester City. This makes their assets a lot more appealing.
Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Wolves also have a chance of doubling.
Who has the best fixtures?
Nottingham Forest, Brighton, Fulham, Leicester and Brentford rank among the top five teams with the best fixtures.
Who has the worst fixtures?
Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Manchester City all rank among the bottom five teams with the worst fixtures.

Best players to buy

- Nottingham Forest – Nottingham Forest top the ticker with Brentford, Crystal Palace and Leicester in the next three. Options at the back like goalkeeper Matz Sels (£5.1m) and centre-back Nikola Milenkovic (£5.1m) could have potential, but Neco Williams (£4.5m) is a cheap route into the backline. The best of the bunch in attack is of course penalty taker and striker Chris Wood (£6.9m). However, midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White (£6.5m) is another great route into the frontline.
- Joao Pedro (£5.6m) – Brighton will be hoping to push for a European spot towards the end of the season. With that in mind, their Brazilian penalty taker and striker could have huge potential, especially against West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves. As well as bagging a brace in Gameweek 32, he also comes in cheap which can help enable a more expensive asset in your team.
- Newcastle – In rampant form and with opposition including Ipswich, Brighton and Chelsea, the Magpies could offer potential across the board. There are several options in defence but the cheapest include centre-back Dan Burn (£4.5m) and full-back Tino Livramento (£4.6m). Striker and penalty taker Alexander Isak (£9.5m) remains a brilliant option. However midfielders Harvey Barnes (£5.9m) and Jacob Murphy (£5.2m) are in excellent form, the latter may be more safe in terms of minutes long-term.
More great picks

- Bryan Mbeumo (£7.9m) and Yoane Wissa (£6.5m) – Matches against Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Ipswich may offer potential for the efficient Brentford attacker. The standout option is penalty taker Mbeumo who has been one of the best midfielders in the game this season. But, Wissa comes in cheaper and has also shown good form this campaign.
- Jarrod Bowen (£7.5m) – West Ham will be hoping to end the campaign strong after a torrid overall season. They have some great opposition to attack ahead including Brighton, Tottenham and Manchester United. Their most successful attacker is of course Bowen who has bagged three goals and two assists in his previous eight games.
- Matheus Cunha (£6.8m) – Four wins on the bounce (at the time of writing) could mean Wolves potential ahead. After returning from a ban, penalty taker Cunha marked his first match back with a goal, and he could well continue to deliver.
Should we play a chip?
- Free Hit – Arguably the best chip to use for the period ahead, the Free Hit could help navigate the Blank Gameweek next up.
- Wildcard – Those with the Wildcard remaining could well use it to tackle the awkward blank ahead, as well as the period ahead. Managers could also use it for Gameweek 36 when the doubles become clearer.
- Bench Boost – Gameweek 36 may be the last best chance to use the bench boost due to the fixtures.
- Triple Captain – if there is a double in Gameweek 36 which is very likely, then playing the triple captain there could be a wise play.
- Assistant Manager – for those with it left, using it in Double Gameweek 36 and then the remainder of the season is the best play.
