Top 10 Predicted Player Points for FPL Gameweek 33

Millions of managers are struggling to put together a transfer plan ahead of the new round. To help with that, we show you the top 10 predicted player points for FPL Gameweek 33.
Knowing which players are going to return the big points can help bring clarity to your team, captaincy and chip plans, which can help propel you up the ranks, so let’s count down from 10th.
6th-10th

Coming in at 10th is Eberechi Eze. Eze heads into the game with returns in each of his previous two matches. This week he faces a home fixture against Bournemouth which could see him continue his form.
Jean Philippe Mateta comes in at ninth with 7.28 points. The Frenchman was substituted off at half time during Gameweek 32 against Manchester City, so managers will keeping a close eye on his fitness status ahead of the round.
Ollie Watkins isn’t far behind him. Aston Villa have been in great league form as of late, but they also have a double Gameweek against Newcastle and Manchester City up next. So, it’s no surprise that Watkins makes his way into the top 10.
Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol sits seventh for points this week. Manchester City also play twice this week – with clashes against Everton and Aston Villa. This could see the Croatian hit both defensive and offensive returns.
In at sixth but playing just once in the round ahead, Mohamed Salah looks set for 8.16 points. The Egyptian recently signed a new contract at Liverpool, which could give him the boost he needs to get back into form against a poor Leicester side.

5th – 8.31 Points

Arsenal come up against both Ipswich and Crystal Palace this week. David Raya (£5.5m) has two glorious opportunities to keep a clean sheet. The Spaniard has failed to keep a shutout in his previous three league games, so owners will be hoping for him to bounce back in Gameweek 33.
4th – 8.34 Points

Another Arsenal asset breaks into the top five, this time its centre-back William Saliba (£6.5m). As well as two openings to keep a clean sheet, the Frenchman will be expected to fill in for the injured Gabriel in terms of attacking potential from set-plays.
3rd – 8.85 Points

Bursting into the top three, and with two fixtures ahead, Omar Marmoush (£7.6m). Marmoush heads into the double in top form – having banked four returns in his last four league matches. The Egyptian seems fully capable of covering for the injured Erling Haaland in his absence.
2nd – 9.29 Points

Arsenal face one ropey defence and one awful defence in Crystal Palace and Ipswich respectively. Because of this, Arsenal appear to have goal scoring potential in the round ahead. Martin Odegaard (£8.2m) may not be the most consistent player, but with two matches, anything can happen.
1st – 11.95 Points

Bursting into top spot, and edging every other player in the game this week is Bukayo Saka (£10.4m). Saka returned recently from injury but priorities in the Champions League meant he failed to start any of the last two matches, so being weary of that will be key.
