Differentials are players who have low ownership. This means that if those players are successful then they could significantly boost both your rank and mini-league position. This is exactly why differentials are such an important part of the game.

“Morgan Gibbs-White – 6.9% ownership – Nottingham Forest £6.5m – Fresh off the great win vs City, I’m backing Forest to continue against an out of sorts Ipswich. There are a few good options for Forest so the trickiest call is who will return this week. But, MGW has returned five goals and nine assists and is central to their attacking play.

“Strand Larsen – 2% ownership – Wolves – £5.2m – Wolves have a lovely fixture against an awful Southampton. The Saints have been woeful defensively so have become one of the best teams to target in the league. Because of that I have gone for Larsen, who will have to step up without Matheus Cunha this week.

@FPL_ElStatto – It was operation target Southampton last week, in which Liverpool won 3-1. However, Diogo Jota played just 20+ minutes and failed to get among the goals, finishing on just one point.

@FplRabbi – Our managers also decided to target Chelsea’ fixture against Leicester. The Blues scraped a 1-0 win but Pedro Neto couldn’t make an impact, and picked up just three points.

@FplShakenbake – Christopher Nkunku was another player who failed to return in the game against Leicester. Because of this the Frenchman claimed just three points.

@FBLThinker – Brentford had an interesting clash with Aston Villa at home last time out. The Bees lost the match 1-0, which meant Kevin Schade blanked with just two points.

@FPLReaction – Crystal Palace beat Ipswich 1-0, but their talismanic midfielder Eberechi Eze couldn’t contribute, so ended the game with three points.
