Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 25 Top Picks

Last modified date

The season of German League football continues! So, we take a look at the Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 25 top picks. Bundesliga Fantasy expert and regular contributor @Big4FPL reveals three of the best defenders, midfielders and forwards for the new round.

The Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 25 top picks can be extremely useful for managers. With lots of changes to the game this season it could be difficult to adjust for managers. But the following top picks can help you bring clarity to some of the decisions you have to make ahead of the deadline.

Defenders

Kaishu Sano – 8m

Whilst Caci may be the exciting wing-back option for Mainz who has hogged the limelight, Sano has been my ever-present with his consistency to hit 170+ week after week. Although classified as a defender, he’s playing centre midfield and this has given him a route to dual wins, as well as forward passes.

He hasn’t really chipped in with an explosive haul yet, but I can see a 200+ point game in what should be a lively match.

Maximilian Mittelstädt – 17m

Mittelstadt has been a fantasy hero across games, but this week he’s arguably the best pick in the game with a match vs Kiel. For me, I may even drop Grimaldo for Mittelstadt this week with the UCL match for Leverkusen around the corner and on this note he is also likely to be my starred defender.

Leo Østigård – 9m

Since coming to Hoffenheim, Ostigard has been a bit of a dual winning machine – although it is a small sample size with a recent niggle also keeping him out one game. This week is a prime fixture to deliver on that consistency and show it isn’t a flash in the pan.

Midfielders

Angelo Stiller – 11m

Other than Millot earlier in the season, we haven’t really had a consistent Stuttgart midfielder to utilize but Stiller was meant to be that guy when the point scoring was announced. He has a constant stream of duals, passes and has a knack for popping up with assists. A match against Kiel should allow him to do this again.

Patrick Wimmer – 10m

Wimmer has delivered back-to-back 200+ pointers for my own team and I can see that form continuing. He is arguably Wolfsburg’s best player and most creative player alongside Amoura and I expect him to return again here.

Tom Krauß – 6m

Another budget midfielder has emerged in recent weeks..although Bischof, ACM and Nebel will forever be the GOATs of this season, KrauB has also come along with a dual winning capability. A match vs Bayern may not seem ideal, but if you’re looking to take a punt on another cheap player then I don’t see why he can’t hit 170+ with the duals needed for Bochum to stay competitive.

Forwards

Serhou Guirassy – 19m

I’m going to include Guirassy again as his form warrants more people owning. UCL rotation may be a headache, but Dortmund need to continue their strong recent form to have a chance of playing UCL next season – so I don’t see why he won’t continue to deliver!

Nick Woltemade – 9m

Undav and Demirovic will always be there as potential threats, but in recent weeks it has been Woltemade as the number one Stuttgart striker. When chasing an equalizer vs Bayern, it was Woltemade that remained on the pitch and I think this puts him in a good spot vs Kiel.

Benjamin Šeško – 14m

Leipzig have been the impossible team to guess this season, they’ll destroy a fellow competitors for European spots, then go and give up a three goal lead vs a relegation candidate the next. As such, any of their attacking options are a bit of a gamble, but I like the upside in Sesko this week.
