Notes
- Owen Goodman of AFC Wimbledon is my goalkeeper, as he is part of the best defence in League Two, keeping 17 clean sheets and four in the last five games.
- My captain for this week is Ryan Johnson, who also plays for AFC Wimbledon and so shares the same impressive defensive record but also earns lots of defensive action points, averaging over four in each of his last five games.
- My second defender is Port Vales Connor Hall, who plays for Port Vale. Similarly to my previous defender, he earns a lot of defensive action points, averaging over four in each of his last five games. He also faces Tranmere and Harrogate.
- Sam Gale of Gillingham makes my midfield. He mostly earns points through interceptions, averaging almost three in each of his last five games.
- Alongside him is Davis Keillor-Dunn of Barnsley. In his last four games DKD has produced three goals and one assist, so he goes into his games against Lincoln and Charlton in form.
- Completing my midfield is Antoni Sarcevic, who plays for Bradford. In his last 10 games Sarcevic has averaged just under eight points per game, whilst also banking three double-digit hauls.
- The lone forward this week is Grimsby’ Danny Rose. This season Rose has picked up 10 goals and three assists. However, he has also managed a goal contribution in each of his last five games.
- Port Vale is the first team I have picked. This is because they are on an eight-match unbeaten run in League Two. They also face Tranmere and Harrogate this week, two teams that occupy the two spaces outside the relegation zone.
- AFC Wimbledon are my other team. Even more impressively than Port Vale, Wimbledon are on a 12-match unbeaten run. This week they face Bromley at home, where they have won their last five games, and Morecambe away from home, who are currently in the relegation zone.
