Fantasy EFL Team Reveal for Gameweek 27

Notes

  • In goal I have gone for Owen Goodman of AFC Wimbledon, who have been the best defence in League Two this season so far. With games against Accrington and Crewe at home this week, they have a good chance of picking up two clean sheets.
  • In defence is Mickey Demetriou. The highest-scoring player in the game, hasn’t scored highly in a few games, but I believe he will bounce back against Newport and Wimbledon this week.
  • Bradford City’ Jack Shephard (C) also joins the backline. Shepard has produced a huge 41 points in his last five games, banking at least five points in each of them. Harrogate and Accrington at home lays ahead this week, two of the easiest fixtures available this week.
  • Trai Hume (VC) of Sunderland completes my defence. Sunderland, are the fourth-best defence in the Championship so far this season, and Hume managed a double-digit haul in three of his previous five matches.
  • One of my midfielders is Enzo Le Fée. The new Sunderland signing has collected 27 points in just four matches, including points through interceptions, key passes, and assists. So, he offers it all as a midfielder.
  • Stevenage’ Daniel Kemp completes my midfield. Kemp is one of the most in-form players available this week. The midfielder has picked up four goals and two assists in his last four matches, so he goes into his meetings with Charlton and Crawley in excellent form.
  • In my forward line Kyle Wootton of Stockport County. Since losing Louie Barry, Wootton has stepped up by providing assists and goals, with one goal and three assists in his last five games. This week he faces two sides who are out of sorts defensively, Barnsley and Bristol Rovers.
  • Bradford City are my first team selection for Gameweek 27. They have two of the easiest fixtures on paper, with home matches against Accrington and Harrogate. Both sides sit towards the bottom of the league table, which shows how poor they can be.
  • Sunderland are unbeaten in their last six games,. This week they play Watford and Luton. Both sides have been poor recently. So, backing an in-form Sunderland this week make sense.
