UCL Fantasy Best Teams to Target in Matchday 7
The Champions League continues! So, we pick out the best teams to target in Matchday 7 for UCL Fantasy, taking into account team form and other factors to see where fantasy managers should be putting their money.
Taking a look at the best teams to target in Matchday 7 can be extremely helpful to fantasy managers. Knowing where to put our precious budget can be huge and also help with important decisions like transfers, captaincy and more.
Liverpool
There are lots of teams with great fixtures this week, but of them, only several play at home, and one of those sides is Liverpool. Arne Slot’ men sit top of both the Champions League and Premier League, after winning 20 of their 25 matches in both competitions combined this season.
This week Liverpool host Lille, who have impressed in the games they have played so far. However, they come up against a side who have already racked up a huge 13 goals scored, and have conceded just a single goal in the Champions League, which could be a step too far for them.
Real Madrid
Real Madrid are also among the sides with a home fixture this week. The Los Blancos clash with Salzburg in Matchday 7, which could be a fantastic opportunity for their assets to succeed. As well as sitting 32nd in the Champions League, Salzburg have shipped a huge 18 goals already, and scored just three times.
Overall form has been mixed for Real Madrid this season, or at least to their standard. Although suffering through a tough start to the campaign, Carlo Ancelotti’ men now sit top of La Liga. Recent performances show they are back to their best – winning their last five matches on the bounce, scoring at least two goals per game, whilst also keeping three clean sheets during the same period.
Arsenal
Home advantage has proven hugely influential this season so another worthy consideration this week for potential investors is Arsenal. The Gooners are another side who seem to be gaining momentum recently – pushing up to second in the English Premier League and winning three of their previous four league matches.
This week could see Arsenal move into second ahead of Barcelona, providing the Catalans drop points. This is because Arsenal face GNK Dinamo, who sit 24th due to two wins, two draws and two losses. It could be an even better week for the Arsenal attackers, when taking into account that Dinamo have conceded a massive 15 goals already this campaign.
Atalanta
It could be unwise to forget about Atalanta this week. Brilliant this season so far, the Italian side reside second in Serie A thus far, just three points behind Napoli. 13 wins from 18 and a huge 43 goals scored helped power them there.
They have also impressed in Europe – giving us an incredible match in their 3-2 loss against Real Madrid, but also beating Young Boys 6-1 and Stuttgart 2-0. The expectation is that their free-scoring form will continue this week, as they meet with Sturm Graz, who recently lost to Lille 3-2.
More Fixtures to Target
There are plenty of other fixtures to target this week, including:
- Benfica v Barcelona
- Slovan Bratislava v Stuttgart
- Celtic v Young Boys
- Milan v Girona
- Sparta Praha v Inter
- Feyenoord v Bayern
