Fixture Ticker
To build my first draft, I used the new FFC Fixture ticker. This helped me choose between teams to invest in, pick between budget players, and make a lot of the decisions in my first draft.

Thoughts
- My biggest decision was my Inter double up. As well doubling this week, they are, in my opinion, still the best side in the league. I doubt the minutes of several Inter defenders long-term, especially with Europe coming up. Because of this, Sommer is still their best defensive asset. As frustrating as he has been, I still prefer Martinez as my Inter forward. For me it’s a matter of time before he finds his best form again.
- I also think the Atalanta double-up is important. I don’t trust their defence, so doubling up on their lethal attack makes sense. Retegui’ lack of starts recently and De Ketelaere magnificent form means the latter will join Lookman in midfield.
- Milan top the ticker, but are very frustrating. They have great fixtures, but I’m not sure how reliable Hernandez is anymore. Instead I have currently opted for a much cheaper pick in Thiaw. He is joined by penalty taker Pulisic, who recently returned from injury.
- I was on the fence with my Juventus double up. The lack of midfield options, budget picks, and taking into account that I like other defensive picks, I have chosen to go for Yildiz and Gatti. I still prefer Gatti to Kalulu and I’m hoping Yildiz will improve as my only route into their attack.
- Bologna double this week and have great fixtures, but I really don’t like their attacking options. For now I have opted for centre-back Beukema, he seems to be reliable for minutes.
- Lazio and Roma are two teams who rank high on the ticker, but Lazio have more appealing options. They include Tavares and Castellanos. I really like the former, whilst although the latter recently picked up a red card, there aren’t many other striker options that convince me.
- I currently have Giovanni Di Lorenzo based on Napoli’ form this season. However, I could well downgrade him to a Roma defender like Mancini and use the funds elsewhere.
- I also have cheaper options that I really like long-term. They include Suzuki in goal, Paz who I previously owned, he has a double next, and Kean, who has been one of the best assets to own this season.
- A lot could still change from now. I will continue to think about: A Bologna attacker, Roma assets, a replacement for Castellanos, Hernandez, the Napoli defence and my Juventus double-up.
