Last modified date

In this article we take a look at the top 10 FPL predicted player points for Gameweek 20. Using the fantastic tools over at Fantasy Football Scout members area we can find out how many points each asset is projected to get each round.

Fantasy Premier League continues so we access our fantastic predicted points tool and find out which players are going to get the most points this week. This could help clear up any 50/50 decisions before the Gameweek commences.

Who tops the list?

Edging every other player in the game with 7.49 points, Mohamed Salah (£13.6m) once again tops the list. The Egyptian is currently on an incredible run – hitting 12 double-digit hauls this season, and having claimed at least one return in every match since Gameweek 7. Salah faces Manchester United up next, who are a side he has enjoyed playing against historically.

The Rest of the Top Five

The only other player predicted to hit more than seven points this week is Erling Haaland. FPL managers have become increasingly frustrated with his form this season. The Norwegian has scored just twice in his last six league matches. This week he has another good opportunity to get on the scoresheet against West Ham.

It is no surprise to see Cole Palmer among the top three. Chelsea come up against Crystal Palace next up. The Eagles have been ropey defensively as of late – shipping five goals to Arsenal and conceding against 20th in the league Southampton. This suggests Palmer has huge potential in the round ahead.

Ollie Watkins breaks into the top five this week. Aston Villa have a plum home fixture against promoted side Leicester in their next match. The Foxes rank joint worst in the league for total goals conceded thus far, so Watkins could recapture his excellent 2023/24 campaign form.

Completing the top predicted player points for Gameweek 20 is Bryan Mbeumo. The Bees remain among the best five teams for total goals scored this season. This looks set to continue when considering they clash with Southampton next. No team has conceded more big chances than the Saints this season so Mbeumo has a great opening to return.

Who else features in the top 10?

Joining the top 10 this week, Alexander Isak heads into his match against Tottenham having managed at least one return in his last five matches on the bounce.

Kevin De Bruyne also features this week. The Belgian recently returned from injury for Manchester City in Gameweek 19 and a match against a West Ham side who recently shipped five goals to Liverpool, could see him return.

Budget enabler and Aston Villa threat Morgan Rogers is predicted to have a successful week. This is no surprise as he clashes with one of the worst defences in the league at home. However, his recent yellow card means he cannot feature against Leicester this week.

In high spirits after his assist against Leicester, Phil Foden could have potential again this week. West Ham continue to display defensive weaknesses, which Foden could take advantage of.

Sneaking in and completing the top 10 for Gameweek 20 is Son Heung-Min. Tottenham have netted at least two goals in all three of their previous home matches, which is where they face Newcastle this week.
