FPL Gameweek 17 Best Differentials
In this article we take a look at the FPL Gameweek 17 best differentials. At the same time @FBLThinker, @FPL_ElStatto, @FplRabbi, @FplShakenbake and @FPLReaction battle it to see who can earn the title ‘Differential King’.
Differentials are players who have low ownership. This means that if those players are successful then they could significantly boost both your rank and mini-league position. This is exactly why differentials are such an important part of the game.
Note: All ownership stats are likely to change.
@FPL_ElStatto
“Raul Jiménez – 5.4% ownership – Fulham – £5.5m – Target the team at the bottom of the table who are managerless and in a mess defensively currently. Jimenez has performed better in home games this season and I just think any team that gets at Southampton will get rewards”.
@FplRabbi
“Jamie Vardy – 9.3% ownership – Leicester – £5.6m – With two goals, two assists and three bps in his last four matches, and under RVN, Vardy looks good for returns once again. Playing the shaky Wolves defence, who are currently manager-less, he could get on the scoresheet once again”.
@FplShakenbake
“Anthony Gordon – 9% ownership – Newcastle – £7.2m – With 20 points in his last four games, Gordon seems to be recapturing last year’s form. Couple that with a trip to Ipswich, and the wide man could be on for a good Gameweek!”.

Awaiting Selection
@FPLReaction
“Jarrod Bowen – 6.9% ownership – West Ham – £7.4m – The Hammers have been inconsistent this season and there is no doubt about that. However, they have also scored at least one in all of their last five games. This week they face Brighton at home, which is a match I see Bowen contributing in”.
Gameweek 16 Scoring
- @FPL_ElStatto – He went for Enzo Fernandez last week. The Chelsea midfielder hit five points after creating an assist against Brentford in his sides 2-1 win.
- @FplRabbi – Kevin De Bruyne was his selection for Gameweek 16. Manchester City lost their match to local rivals Manchester United, but not before the Belgian picked up six points for his assist.
- @FplShakenbake – He opted for Wolves striker Strand Larsen in the previous round. Wolves lost their latest game to Ipswich 2-1 and Larsen ended the game with just two points after failing to contribute.
- @FBLThinker – Kaoru Mitoma caught the eye of our contributor ahead of Gameweek 16. The Japanese international did not contribute towards his sides goal and so ended the match with just two points.
- @FPLReaction – He picked Son Heung-Min ahead of his meeting with Southampton. Tottenham won the game 5-0 and Son produced an impressive one goal and two assists, which led to a huge 14 points.
Overall Scoring
