Which Teams have the Best Fixtures in Gameweek 17?
Which teams have the best fixtures in Gameweek 17? It’s a question many FPL managers will be asking themselves ahead of the new round. With that help of the Fantasy Football Scout Member Area, we take a look at exactly that.
Fixture difficulty plays a huge part in how FPL managers navigate the schedule. Knowing which teams have the best fixtures in Gameweek 17 can help to determine which teams we invest in and which players we choose in our team.
Gameweek 17 Fixtures
Below we can see the Fantasy Football Scout Fixture Ticker. The teams at the top have the easiest fixtures whilst the teams at the bottom have the toughest fixtures.
Who tops the ticker this week?
Fulham sit right at the top of the fixture ticker this week. The Cottagers have been hit and miss overall this season. But, in the last six games, they have won three, drawn two and lost just one. Although keeping just one clean sheet during that time, Fulham also netted 10 times.
This week is a great opportunity for Fulham to produce a little more consistency. Rock bottom of the league Southampton are up next for London Club. Russel Martin’s men have been woeful both defensively and offensively this season, which means we could see plenty of returns from Fulham assets.
Who else makes the top three?
Sitting second on the ticker for Gameweek 17 is Leicester. The Foxes have lost three of their last five matches, but they have also banked four points out of a possible six in their last two games. Up next is Wolves, who have shipped more goals than any other side this season.
Short of form recently, Newcastle have failed to win any of their last four league games. This week could be a great opening for Eddie Howe and co to pick up three points as they clash with promoted side Ipswich away from home.
Other teams with good fixtures
Arsenal are amongst other sides with a great fixture in Gameweek 17. The Gooners have impressed recently – winning three of their last four league games. They meet with an inconsistent Crystal Palace side next away from home.
Continuing their good run of fixtures, Brighton could also have potential this week. In the three matches prior to Gameweek 16, the Seagulls failed to win. However, an away trip to West Ham could be the change they need, especially considering how poor they have been thus far this campaign.
Another side who have a great schedule ahead is Chelsea. The Blues arguably have better fixtures than any other side looking ahead, and next up is Everton. As well as failing to score in four of their last five matches (at the time of writing), the Toffees have also won just one of their last six games.
