UCL Fantasy Matchday 6 Best Differentials
The sixth round of the Champions League is about to begin and so we continue coverage by reeling off the UCL Fantasy Matchday 6 best differentials. To help us we consider lots of different factors including team and player form, fixture difficulty and stats.
Differentials are players who have low ownership. Owning a differential who has success can be extremely influential on both mini-league position and overall rank. Because of this checking out our UCL Fantasy Matchday 6 differentials can be extremely beneficial.
Alistair Johnston – 1% Ownership
Celtic open up the set of Matchday 6 fixtures, as they play in the early kick-off. The Scottish side will be hoping to bounce back and repay the fans after their home draw against Club Brugge. They have a great opportunity to do this in the round ahead against GNK Dinamo this week.
As well as clean sheet potential against an inconsistent side, Celtic’ Alistair Johnston (€4.5m) also offers considerable attacking threat. The Canadian has been brilliant so far – producing an impressive four goals and three assists in just 14 league matches. At his price-tag and in the early kick-off, with a defensive bracket lacking in options, Johnston could be a great differential.
Luis Diaz – 10% Ownership
Liverpool have been in scintillating form this season. Sitting top of the both the Premier League and the Champions League, Arne Slot’ men are proving difficult to stop. Next up trying to stop them is Girona, who have been extremely inconsistent defensively.
Having access to the Liverpool line-ups is a massive advantage ahead of Matchday 6. This is because there has been some rotation in attack recently. An alternative route into the Liverpool attack is Luis Diaz (€7.6m). With five goals and two assists in the league and three goals in the Champions League this season, Diaz can be extremely effective when playing, which is something we could see again this week against Girona.
Bradley Barcola – 9% Ownership
PSG need to start winning matches in Europe again. The French Champions have failed to win a single Champions League match since their opening day meeting with Girona, and we could see them do that this week against Salzburg.
Hoping to punish a Salzburg side, who have lost four of their five matches and shipped a huge 15 goals, is Bradley Barcola (€7m). Although quiet recently in terms of output, Barcola has collected 10 goals and two assists overall in Ligue 1 this season, proving to be one of PSG’ biggest goal threats.
Jonathan David – 3% Ownership
Many expected Lille to be a soft touch in the League Phase, that was until we saw how hard to beat they are. After losing their opener against Sporting CP, they then went on to beat Real Madrid, Atletico and Bologna.
The French side have more than proved their ability, and they have a good opportunity to continue their form against Sturm Graz this week. Regularly featuring amongst their goals is main man and penalty taker Jonathan David (€7.2m). David returned against Real Madrid, Atelti and Juventus recently, so he could well punish a much weaker Sturm Graz too.
Enzo Millot
Stuttgart have been extremely disappointing in the Champions League so far, an opinion shared by many UCL Fantasy managers. Tensions were high in their recent and embarrassing 5-1 loss against Crvena Zvezda, but with fixtures against Young Boys and Slovan Bratislava next, we could we see them go all out in their final two rounds.
With the above in mind, we could opt for Enzo Millot (£6.2m). Millot has been one of two bright lights in a generally disappointing Stuttgart frontline – creating two assists and one goal in his first five Champions League matches. On top of that, 35th place Young Boys have also conceded the second most goals in the competition so far, which could mean huge potential for Millot.
