The new round Premier League football is approaching so we take a look at the FPL Gameweek 13 best differentials. Using the Fantasy Football Scout members area we utilise the fixture ticker and underlying stats to pick out some of the best players with low ownership.

Our FPL Gameweek 13 best differentials could give you a much needed boost to start the new season. Differentials are players who have low ownership. If those players are successful then it could both rank and mini-league position.

Kaoru Mitoma – 5.6% Ownership

Brighton appear to be picking up some form with their softening fixtures – winning four of their last six games in the league. The Seagulls have also impressed offensively too – racking up two or more goals in six of their previous eight matches.

Because of the above, and the fact they face a woeful Southampton defence next up, makes Kaoru Mitoma (£6.4m) a good selection. The Japanese international was been reasonably quiet during the start of the campaign, difficult fixtures were largely to blame for that. However, with an easing schedule and a goal in his most recent game, we could well start seeing some consistency from Mitoma.

Marcus Rashford – 3.5% Ownership

Manchester United have gone through a turbulent start to the season so far. Keeping players fit has been challenging enough, but a change of managers has added even more unknown into the equation. However, change is sometimes necessary, and it’s a change that midfielder Marcus Rashford (£6.9m) may welcome.

Rashford has been nowhere the standard we know he is capable of, but that may change under new guidance. He already made a great impression under the new manager after scoring against Ipswich in Gameweek 12. Everton lay ahead, which is another opportunity to rebuild his confidence.

Evanilson – 2% Ownership

Bournemouth are another side struggling to sustain a good run of form – having lost three of their previous six matches. But during that same period they have also beat Manchester City, Arsenal, and held Aston Villa to a draw.

The Cherries have shown that they can score, even against the tougher sides, but this week they face Wolves, who have conceded more goals than any other side in the league. This could be a great opportunity for striker and penalty taker Evanilson (£6m) to extend his form, after producing a return in four of his last five games.

Jurrien Timber – 1.9% Ownership

After an extremely poor run of form for Arsenal, or at least by their standards, things appear to be improving. The return of Martin Odegaard hasn’t just improved their frontline, but it has also stabilised the entire team, including the defence.

The Gooners maintained the best defence in the league last season, and we saw flickers of that in their clean sheet performance against Nottingham Forest last week. Ahead lays West Ham, which could see them keep back-to-back clean sheets in the league for the first time since Gameweek 1 and 2. The cheapest route into the defence, helped by Ben Whites recent injury, is Jurrien Timber (£5.5m).

Dejan Kulusevski – 3.9% Ownership

Tottenham have won three and lost three, of their previous six matches, which isn’t ideal for a club looking to finish in the Champions League positions. However, one trait they do hold is scoring goals, which they rank higher than any other side for so far this season.

The London club head into their next game against Fulham, having scored four goals in two of their last three matches. Fulham, on the other hand, go into the meeting having just conceded four goals against Wolves in Gameweek 12. All signs suggest Tottenham could have another successful round from an attacking perspective, and Dejan Kulusevski (£6.3m) is likely good well be involved. The Swedish international has been in fine form recently – bagging five returns in his last seven matches.
