Gameweek 9-11 Fixtures

Below we can see the Fantasy Football Scout Fixture Ticker in difficulty order. The teams at the top have the easiest fixtures and the teams at the bottom have the toughest fixtures.

Who has the best fixtures?

Everton sit at the top of the fixture ticker for the rounds ahead. The Toffees have taken seven points from a possible nine in their last three matches. They take that form into meetings with Fulham, Southampton and West Ham.

Sitting second on the fixture ticker is Fulham. Although seemingly hitting a slump after losing two on the bounce the Cottagers showed plenty of potential in the two matches prior to that. Games against Everton, Brentford and Crystal Palace next could see them bounce back.

Also amongst the top three sides with the easiest fixtures is West Ham. The Hammers have been extremely inconsistent recently – winning just once in their last five matches. They come up against Manchester United, Nottingham Forest and Everton ahead to try and settle that form.

Best Players to Buy

Everton’s recent form, nicely priced options and fixtures suggest they could be a great team to invest in. The cheapest route into the backline looks to be full-back Vitalii Mykolenko (£4.3m). Others could opt for Jordan Pickford (£4.8m) between the sticks. The Toffees most consistent attacker seems to be midfielder midfielder Dwight McNeil (£5.7m). Leading the attack and on penalty duty is forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£5.7m) who could be another great pick.

Fulham were another side highlighted above. In defence full-back Antonee Robinson (£4.7m) offers the most attacking threat. In attack there are plenty of options we could consider. In midfield, although short of form recently, Emile Smith Rowe (£5.7m) could have huge potential whilst the cheaper Andreas Pereira (£5.3m) has returned in two of his last three matches. Currently, the standout option appears to be striker Raul Jimenez (£5.6) after returning in each of his last five matches, showing excellent form.

Nottingham Forest could also offer plenty of potential. Putting up some great numbers in defence could make options like goalkeeper Matz Sels (£4.5m) and full-back Ola Aina (£4.5m) great selections. Banking two returns in his last four matches is midfielder Callum Hudson-Odoi (£5.4m). Penalty taker and striker Chris Wood (£6.3m) has netted two in his last three games so appears to be in great form.

Who else should we consider?

Tottenham also have some great fixtures and go into the next round off the back of a 4-1 win against West Ham. A cheap way into the defence is centre-back Mickey van de Ven (£4.6m) but teammate and full-back Pedro Porro (£5.5m) has much more attacking potential. In midfielder James Maddison’s (£7.5m) recent half time subbing is a concern so it could be safer to opt for Brennan Johnson (£6.6m). He could be a cheap way into the frontline. At a more premium price is Son Heung-Min (£9.8m) who scored in his latest match. Leading the attack is forward Dominic Solanke (£7.7m). Although frustrating for some owners Solanke has produced a return in three of his last four games.

Brentford have three fantastic fixtures ahead of them. Between the sticks Mark Flekken (£4.5m) could solve a problem between the sticks. For those looking for a defender then centre-back Nathan Pinnock (£4.5m) scored in his most recent game. Penalty taker Bryan Mbeumo (£7.5m) remains the best option in attack but the return of striker Yoane Wissa (£5.9m) could spark some interest.

Manchester City are of course another side we should prioritise. His advanced positioning, price and recent attacking output makes full-back Rico Lewis (£4.7m) the most convincing pick in defence. Along with striker Erling Haaland (£15.4m) FPL mangers may also be tempted by midfielder Phil Foden (£9.2m) due to recent performances.

Should I use a Chip?

One chip many could consider in Gameweek 9 is the triple captaincy chip. Less Double Gameweeks this season could suggest using the triple captain chip on Erling Haaland against the worst side in the league, Southampton, a great opportunity. Others may decide to be a little patient and hope for a good double Gameweek deeper into the season.
