Notes
- I wanted to wait a couple of Rounds before making any new moves, but Theo Hernandez’s two week suspension gives me the opportunity to be more aggressive with my plans.
- I can move out Theo Hernandez to Nuno Tavares, getting just enough money in the bank to upgrade my least important midfielder Frendrup to one of the best premium options in Pulisic.
- Pulisic would then play in midfield instead of Yildiz, while Tavares would be benched waiting for his great fixture run from Round 9 onwards.
- Captaincy will be on either Pulisic or Buongiorno.

- Given the state of my team going into GW8, after much contemplation, I have decided to use my wildcard. This is primarily to shift out suspended or injured players like Bremer and Theo and to bring in in-form players like Lukaku, Coco and Gosens etc.
- Retegui and Lookman remain in my team given their fixture.
- Leao has come in now as a punt as my second Milan player and I am hoping for a big haul vs Udinese at home.
- I’m also happy to bring in Gudmundsson early before he becomes a template pick in the coming weeks.
- Captaincy is undecided at the moment but it’s between Pulisic, Lukaku and Lookman!

Notes
- I’m currently 6th overall rank!
- Round 8 has some tricky fixtures (similar to round 5) so captaincy will be interesting.
- My team looks good right now, so I’m saving my transfer (to try to get a second Juventus defender) next round.
- Bastoni early subs are a headache especially when there’s UCL midweek, he’s one to monitor.
- I am benching Zaccagni for Coco, hoping for DCS + a 90+ goal.
- Captain will be Gatti (90%) or Puli to play it safe.

Notes
- I’m in two minds about my moves this week. Inter have a couple of tough matches coming up; at the same time, Romelu Lukaku looks to be the Napoli attacker to own from a Fantasy perspective. For that reason, I’m considering selling Lautaro Martínez for Lukaku and downgrading Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Ademola Lookman to enable the move. However, Napoli’s fixtures also take a turn for the worse in a couple of weeks, so I may end up rolling the transfer.
- Yann Sommer will start in goal despite a tricky fixture against Roma. Despite his hauls this season, I don’t trust the Parma defence enough to play Zion Suzuki, who only scored a total of one point across two rounds the last time I played him over Sommer. Parma’s opponents this weekend, Como, are also playing well and performing above expectations.
- Theo Hernández’s needless red card against Fiorentina is frustrating as he was a prime captaincy candidate this week. I’ll probably play a back three as a result of his suspension, with Zeki Çelik also benched given the Roma-Inter fixture.
- My only other decision is which of my attackers I bench. Fiorentina played their best football of the season in their 2-1 win against Milan and might have finally turned a corner under Raffaele Palladino. However, Lecce away feels like a typical banana skin fixture for the Viola and, with reports that Moise Kean is managing a back problem, it will probably be the Fiorentina forward who drops out.
- Christian Pulisic will be my captain for Round 8 given Milan’s favourable home matchup (at least on paper) against Udinese.
