Last modified date

In this article we take a look at the top 10 FPL predicted player points for Gameweek 8. Using the fantastic tools over at Fantasy Football Scout members area we can find out how many points each asset is projected to get each round.

Fantasy Premier League continues so we access our fantastic predicted points tool and find out which players are going to get the most points this week. This could help clear up any 50/50 decisions before the Gameweek commences.

Who tops the list?

Leading the pack is Manchester City striker Erling Haaland (£15.4m) with 7.28 points. Haaland has a great opportunity to bounce back after blanking in his last two matches this week as he clashes with a Wolves side who have lost all but one of their games so far this season.

The Top Five

Amongst the top five this week is Mohamed Salah with 6.80 points. Interestingly, the Egyptian comes head-to-head with an in-form Chelsea next up. Chelsea may have impressed this season but there remains major question marks over their defensive capabilities.

One half of the Tottenham duo breaking into the the top five this week is Dominic Solanke with 5.78 points. Having produced a return in each of his last three league matches Solanke seems to be gaining momentum at his new club.

Another name many may be surprised to see is Bruno Fernandes. Manchester United have been inconsistent so far this season. But, they meet with a Brentford side who have shipped at least two goals in four of their first seven matches.

Joining his teammate, James Maddison is another Tottenham player predicted to do well this week. West Ham have failed to keep a single clean sheet this season and Maddison goes into the clash having scored two goals and creating one assist in his last three games.

Who else features in the top 10?

Having had the international break to recover Tottenham talisman Son Heung-Min also features. Although absent from his sides last two league matches Son proved his potential by securing two double-digit hauls in his first five games.

Another player who features amongst the FPL predicted player points for Gameweek 8 is Phil Foden. After starting two matches on the bounce for Manchester City, the Englishman appears to be back in contention.

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is also amongst the top 10. The Arsenal penalty taker picked up an injury when playing for England this week. So, it could be worth monitoring news around his injury status in the build-up to the deadline. If he can play then Bournemouth lay ahead, which could be a brilliant opportunity for him to return.

Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer make the cut. The former faces Brighton at home this week whilst the latter has a tough away trip to Anfield in Liverpool.
