Serie A Fantasy Round 6 Top Picks

Last modified date

The new season continues so we reveal the Serie A Fantasy Round 6 top picks. Regular contributor and Serie A expert @FPL_Crisk comes in to pick out two of the best players in each position for the new round of campaign.

It isn’t long before the new Gameweek commences. So, knowing which players have the most potential could be hugely beneficial. Getting off to a good start in every fantasy game is important for both rank and mini-league position.

Goalkeepers – Mile Svilar (€5.0m – 25.3%)

Mile Svilar

Managers who trusted Svilar at start the season will be very happy with his performances. So far he has managed three full clean sheets in the first five Rounds (despite Roma as a team failing to be competitive). Now the Serbian goalie will be coached by Ivan Juric, who is a great defensive manager. Interestingly he led Torino to a massive 17 clean sheets last season.

Michele Di Gregorio (€6.0m – 16.7%)

Di Gregorio is as consistent as it gets. Juventus are the only team in the top five leagues who are yet to concede a single goal in domestic competitions. In fact, Di Gregorio would be easily first in the game for points if he wasn’t rotated for Perin in Round 4.

Defenders – Giovanni Di Lorenzo (€7.0m – 29.9%)

Currently the top scorer in the game, his high price-tag is most certainly justified. Despite playing in a back-three, Di Lorenzo is returning at a wingback’s rate. Napoli host Monza next, who have only managed to produce 2.14 xG in five games. Thus, Napoli are likely on their way to a third clean sheet in a row.

Jackson Tchatchoua (€4.4m – 3.4%)

My next pick could be an interesting and cheap differential option. Despite playing as a wingback, his minutes seem pretty safe. The one time he was subbed was due to a desperate attempt to come back from two goals at a numerical disadvantage. Verona travel to Como, who will have a couple less days to train due to their Atalanta match being postponed for 24h due to extreme weather conditions.

Midfielders – Kenan Yildiz (€4.8m – 42.4%)

If rumours are to be believed, Vlahovic’s poor performances have led Thiago Motta to try the Turkish wonderkid as a striker. While I’m not expecting Yildiz to play the full game in that position, the chance of having an out of position budget midfielder as the main goal threat for a top team is too good to be ignored.

Paulo Dybala (€11.6m – 14.5%)

Dybala and Dovbyk are starting to pair up very well together. I think the appointment of Ivan Juric as the new head coach will only benefit the pair. Last week we also confirmed that the Argentinian is the main penalty taker for the team. Just be careful of rotation with the Europa League fixtures during the midweek.

Forwards – Albert Gudmundsson (€8.0m – 9.1%)

He returned to Serie A with a bang, scoring two penalties (one earned by himself) and getting a massive 14 point haul. In the next Round he faces a local derby against Empoli to add some returns to his tally. Scoring against Devis Vasquez won’t be easy, but I have high hopes for the Icelandic star.

Tammy Abraham (€7.0m – 3.3%)

This might be a bit of a risky pick. Fonseca seems to be shifting Milan to a 4-4-2 formation, with Morata and Abraham up top. If he keeps playing like this, Morata would have more of a link-up playmaker role, with Abraham becoming the main target man. He has impressed lots of fans, myself included, since joining the team and he could become one of the “surprises” of the season.
