Notes
- Transfers OUT – Raum, Caci, Simons, Openda and Kramarić.
- Transfers IN – Schlotterbeck, Ritzka, Stöger, Kane and Undav.
- Formation: 3-5-2.
- GK – Müller (5m – SCF) – I regret not going with Augsburg’s Labrović now. Maybe I thought Müller would rack up the save points versus Stuttgart and Bayern.
- DEF – (STAR) Grimaldo (20m – B04), Schlotterbeck (14m – BVB) and Ritzka (5m – STP) – An easy star defender choice and a couple of duel winning monsters from MD1.
- MID – (STAR) Musiala (20M – FCB), Stöger (15m – BMG), Brandt (14m – BVB), Führich (14m – VFB) and Daschner (6m – BOC) – I am expecting everyone to perform well here, even Bochum’s Daschner up against the man he replaced in Stöger. Fingers crossed for some Musiala madness.
- FOR – (STAR) Kane (20m – FCB) and Undav (13m – VFB) – I am expecting no less than two goals from Kane and a fantasy haul. It was a toss up between the two Stuttgart forwards but I have gone for Undav. He only played 30 minutes in the midweek cup game and should be the fresher of the two forwards. I feel like his ceiling is also higher.
- BENCH – Phillipp (1m – TSG), Theuerkauf (1m – HDH), Strobl (1m – TSG) and Breunig (1m – HDH) – At this moment in time unless any cheap 2m defenders start getting regular minutes there is no point in a bench bar Breunig who we have as the super enabling 1m back up forward option.
- 0m ITB.

- Looking to build on a strong MD1 performance, where I currently sit 779th in the world. I wasn’t particularly impressed with Kane’s display – just one assist and a yellow card in Bayern’s 3-2 win over Wolfsburg. Despite the lacklustre performance, he still returned points, and I believe he has the potential to deliver again this week. That said, my team feels well-equipped and balanced enough to counter him effectively.
- I’m particularly intrigued by Dortmund’s prospects this week, and I’m seriously considering starring Brandt, given his attacking threat. On the other hand, I was underwhelmed by Openda in MD1 and am contemplating selling him ahead of his MD2 fixture against Leverkusen, which looks challenging.
- Balancing my approach against the big names while targeting the right fixtures feels like the key strategy moving forward.

- We’ve made it through the first week of the new scoring and we’re only another week away from an unlimited transfer week!
- Initial thoughts are I made the right calls through the team with no one scoring sub 100. The difference between a good week and great week was not picking Kramaric who hit a hattrick – so I’m fairly happy.
- My planned transfers include getting Schlotterbeck and Stoger as they look like beasts with the new system. Then although I don’t expect another screamer I think Xhaka will always be a nice pick when unsure of other options.
- The only other moves I’m weighing up are keeping Wanner to have Musiala over Olise, but otherwise I’m fairly set on my plans.

- The first round went well with 3098 points and overall ranking of 164th.
- Moving towards the second gw before the international break my target is clearly both Borussia Bayern and Stuttgart. I really feel for Kleindienst owners, his two goals were disallowed but he will surely pick up more this time around as they face a shaky Bochum. He is my top striker pick alongside the favourite “Hurricane” Harry Kane.
- In midfield I am just fine to keep Millot and Pascal whilst Musiala is my Star.
- I am also keeping Daschner as I have a feeling he might get something from this gw.
- My only change is bringing in Stoger for Simons.
