Best Differentials for EURO Fantasy Matchday 3

We continue our coverage of the summer tournament by picking out some of the best differentials for EURO Fantasy Matchday 3. We do this with the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area and its underlying stats.

Knowing who the best differentials for EURO Fantasy Matchday 3 are could be hugely rewarding. Differentials are players who have low ownership and if successful they can boost both your rank and min-league position.

Leroy Sane – 4% Ownership

Germany are one of two teams playing on the first day which means we have access to their line-ups. The hosts have been relentless so far – scoring more goals, having more attempts on goal and having more shots on target than any other side.

Buying into the Germany attack will be crucial this week. However, with six points already, they may finally have room to squeeze in a start for the fantastic Leroy Sane (€7m). Sane is a hugely explosive player in UEFA competitions and after scoring eight goals and creating 11 assists in the Bundesliga last season, he clearly has both the creativity and goal threat to punish Switzerland.

Alejandro Grimaldo – 10% Ownership

Spain are another side who have impressed hugely. Not only have they won both of their matches so far and secured their position in the round of 16 but they have also kept a clean sheet in both of their first two matches.

Another player who should be rotated in this week after a brilliant season is left-back Alejandro Grimaldo (€5m). Grimaldo racked up a jaw-dropping 10 goals and 13 assists from wing-back in the Bundesliga last season and with a game against Albania next up, he could offer potential at both ends of the pitch.

Arda Guler – 10% Ownership

Türkiye are another side who have caught the eye. Their impressive performance against Georgia in Matchday 1 was a surprise to many. After a tough fixture in Matchday 2 Türkiye assets appear back on the radar again as they face a meeting with Czechia this week.

Türkiye have some great attacking options but none more special than midfielder Arda Guler (€6m). The 19-year-old Real Madrid attacker managed six goals in his 10 matches for Real Madrid last season and continued that form into EURO’ after scoring a wonder goal and claiming the player of the match award. Guler is one of youngest top talents in the competition and with that and the above in mind, he eases amongst the best differentials for EURO Fantasy Matchday 3.

Scott McTominay – 6% Ownership

Scotland have work to do after losing their first match and drawing their second. Progression into the round of 16 is still a possibility for them. Hungary have proven difficult for some of the best teams around historically but after shipping five goals in their first two matches, they appear a team to target.

Missing a talisman at times Scotland have had to rely on a joint effort. One player who comes close to the talisman label however is midfielder Scott McTominay (€6.5m). McTominay was relentless in Qualifying, scoring seven goals and registering one assist in eight matches. The Manchester United man goes into the next game with high confidence after scoring in Matchday 2 and with some set pieces at his disposal it increases his odds of returning even more.

Ivan Schranz – 0% Ownership

Slovakia have been really impressive so far. As well as beating Belgium in their opening match they also looked convincing against Ukraine in their 2-1 loss. Slovakia face Romania next up and it could be a good opportunity for them to secure their place in the round of 16.

Slovakia’ scoring form during the competition is mostly due to forward Ivan Schranz (€5.5m). Schranz hit three goals in five Europa League matches last campaign and has continued his top form for country after netting in back-to-back EURO’ matches.
