More EURO 2024 Fantasy Pre-Season Friendlies: Goals, Assists, Minutes and More

The EURO 2024 Fantasy pre-season friendlies are under way and we follow them all here. In this article we take a look at a range of different factors from the goals, assists, minutes played, injuries and anything else of significance.

As we look back and reflect on more EURO 2024 Fantasy pre-season friendlies we can learn a lot. Monitoring the friendlies can be hugely important when it comes to making decisions around players in your squad.

Hungary 3-0 Israel

Hungary won their recent friendly match convincingly 3-0.

Their standout performance came from in-game forward Barnabás Varga (€6m), he had a hand in each of the goals after scoring twice and creating the other.

The other two assists were produced by wing-back Bendeguz Bolla (€4.5m) and in-game forward Roland Sallai (€5.5m).

Penalty taker and main man Dominik Szoboszlai (€7m) featured but came off around the 57th minute due to a precaution.

Portugal 1-2 Croatia

Portugal lost their most recent friendly against tournament veterans Croatia. Croatia lined up with a mostly strong starting XI.

Croatia midfielder Luka Modric (€7.5m) converted a penalty for the first goal. Their second goal came from bit-part player and in-game forward Ante Budimir (€7.5m).

Portugal’ only goal came from in-game forward Diogo Jota (€8.5m), and assisted by second team defender Nelson Semedo (€5m).

One player who didn’t start for Portugal was full-back Joao Cancelo (€6m), although he featured at half-time.

Belgium 3-0 Luxembourg

Belgium dismantled Luxembourg 3-0 and several significant moments may be worth highlighting.

The first two goals came from striker Romelu Lukaku (€9m) who continued his fantastic and relentless international form. One of his assists came from in-game forward Jeremy Doku (€7m).

In game midfielder and Arsenal man Leandro Trossard (€8m) netted the third goal, with the help of budget defender Wout Faes (€4m) who produced the assist.

Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne (€9.5m) started but failed to pick up any returns.

Finally, left-back Thomas Meunier (€4.5m) started the match but picked up an injury, being replaced by Maxim De Cuyper.

Spain 5-1 Northern Ireland

It was a big statement ahead of the tournament as Spain swept Northern Ireland aside 5-1.

Interestingly, although left-back Alejandro Grimaldo (€5m) didn’t start the game he later featured in the second half.

Midfielder Pedri was heavily involved in the goals after netting twice. Striker Mikel Oyarzabal (€7.5m) netted from an in-game forward Lamine Yamal (€6.5m). Striker Alvaro Morata (€8.5m) was also amongst the goals.

Denmark 3-1 Norway

Denmark did well to edge Erling Haaland’ Norway.

Wing-back Joachim Maehle (€5.5m) failed to start the game but eventually came on for fellow defender Alexander Bah (€4.5m). That changed then forced Joachim Maehle over to right wing-back and substitute Viktor Kristiansen (€4.5m) moved over to left wing-back.

Scoring the first goal for Denmark was midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg (€5.5m). Following on was centre-back Jannik Vestergaard (€4.5m) who’s goal was helped by in-game forward Andreas Skov Olsen (€6.5m). The third goal was scored by bit-part and in-game forward Yussuf Poulsen (€6m) in which Victor Kristiansen scored.
