EURO 2024 Fantasy Pre-Season Friendlies: Goals, Assists, Minutes and More

The EURO 2024 Fantasy pre-season friendlies are under way and we follow them all here. In this article we take a look at a range of different factors from the goals, assists, minutes played, injuries and anything else of significance.

As we look back and reflect on the EURO 2024 Fantasy pre-season friendlies we can learn a lot. Monitoring the friendlies can be hugely important when it comes to making decisions around players in your squad.

Scotland 2-0 Gibraltar

Scotland beat Gibraltar 2-0 in their first friendly and it wasn’t until the 58th minute that the first goal came in.

First team players who didn’t feature include centre-back Jack Hendry (€4.5m) and goalkeeper Angus Gunn (€4.5m).

In-game forward Ryan Christie (€6m) scored the first goal with the help of bit-part player Lawrence Shankland (€5.5m) with the assist.

The second and final goal came from striker Che Adams (€5.5m) who came on around the 66th minute. His goal was created by talisman and set piece taker John McGinn (€6.5m) who played the full match.

Midfielder Scott McTominay (€6.5m) also had no involvement in the game.

Croatia 3-0 North Macedonia

Several key players didn’t feature as Croatia completed a comfortable win against North Macedonia. The players mentioned include Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric (€7.5m), right-back Josip Stanisic (€5m), centre-back Josko Gvardiol (€5.5m), and midfielder Marcelo Brozovic (€6m).

Contributing towards two of the goals was midfielder Lovro Majer (€6.5m) who netted twice. Striker Bruno Petkovic (€6m) created an assist for one of the goals. However, the final goal was produced by Marco Pasalic (€6m).

Striker Andrej Kramaric (€7.5m) and midfielder Ivan Perisic (€6.5m) both started but failed to make an impact.

Albania 3-0 Liechtenstein

Albania won their friendly comfortably 3-0. Veteran goalkeeper Etrit Berisha (€4m) got the nod ahead of Thomas Strakosha (€4m), claiming a clean sheet in the process.

Key players at the back Elseid Hysaj (€4.5m) and Berat Djimsiti (€4.5m) failed to feature, along with forward Mirlind Daku (€5.5m).

Striker Armando Broja led the frontline and scored the opening goal with the help of first team attacker Nedim Bajrami (€6m). Also amongst the goals was in-game forward Jasir Asani (€5.5m) who picked up an assist and a goal. Scoring the final goal was Ernest Muci (€5.5m) who rarely starts for his country.

England v Bosnia

It was another easy win for a EURO side as England picked Bosnia apart in their 3-0 victory.

There was a lack of takeaways from the game as only two players, goalkeeper Jordan Pickford (€5m) and full-back Kieran Trippier (€6m) are expected to make the starting line-up when the competition begins.

The first goal came late on in the 60th minute when midfielder Cole Palmer (€7.5m) converted a penalty. The second goal came from defender Trent-Alexander Arnold (€5.5m), helped by midfielder Jack Grealish (€7.5m). Star striker and penalty taker Harry Kane (€11m) came on around the 60th minute and scored the final goal.

Germany 0-0 Ukraine

Germany went into the game with their strongest possible starting XI. It was only midfielder Toni Kroos (€6.5m) and defender Antonio Rudiger (€5.5m) who couldn’t make it due to the Champions League final.

Germany defender Maximilian Mittelstadt (€4m) stood out with three key passes, reminding everyone he is favourite to start at left-back. We also saw some poor performances from Ilkay Gundogan (€7m) and forward Kai Havertz (€7.5m).

Ukraine couldn’t do much stop a 0-0 stalemate either. Striker Artem Dovbyk (€7.5m) featured for less than 20 minutes.
