Notes

  • GW35 was another fairly average week for me. There I recorded a small, ~400-place red arrow down to an OR of ~2.2k.
  • I went into GW35 hoping to roll my free transfer. But, I was ultimately forced into taking -8 to bring in Pedro Porro, Anthony Gordon and Nicolas Jackson. This was due to injuries to Malo Gusto and Destiny Udogie, and rotation concerns with Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nuñez and Erling Haaland.
  • I’m once again planning to roll a transfer this week if I can! Caoimhin Kelleher and Destiny Udogie both need to go ahead of playing my bench boost in DGW37. But with Manchester City assets (and rotation concerns) in mind for both positions, I’m keen to leave that decision as late as possible.
  • Rayan Aït-Nouri has been unlucky with injuries and may also need to be transferred out. But, I will assess that closer to DGW37.
  • Đorđe Petrović will once again start in goal. Porro, Gabriel and Dan Burn all start across the back line.
  • Aït-Nouri plays Manchester City away but I would have benched him anyway this week even if fully fit.
  • In midfield, the potential absence of Bruno Fernandes against Crystal Palace dampens the appeal of Alejandro Garnacho. He will most likely be benched in favour of Gordon, Phil Foden, Cole Palmer and Son-Heung Min who are set to start.
  • There are no planned changes in attack. Jackson, Haaland and Alexander Isak are set to lead the line once again.
  • Haaland is my top pick for captaincy this week, assuming there are no after effects of his benching against Nottingham Forest.
