Gameweek 31 Best Wildcard Team

In this article we focus on the Gameweek 31 best wildcard team. Using the fixture ticker and underlying data from the Fantasy Football Scout members area we build the best wildcard team for the run ahead. Here, we also consider two different drafts for two different chip strategies.

The period ahead could be very challenging for FPL managers to navigate so many within the community could be ready to shake up their fantasy teams. Because of this taking a look at the Gameweek 31 best wildcard team could be extremely beneficial.

Fixture Ticker

Below we can see that the fixture ticker covers the next five Gameweeks (from Gameweek 31-35).

Who has the best fixtures?

Wolves, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal all rank amongst the top five teams with the best fixtures.

Who has the worst fixtures?

Tottenham, Aston Villa, Luton, Brighton and Chelsea all rank amongst the bottom five teams with the worst fixtures.

Note: It is worth adding that both Chelsea and Tottenham are highly likely to have a double Gameweek in either Gameweek 35 or 36.

Gameweek 31 Best Wildcard Team

This first draft is for those who do not have a Free Hit to navigate Gameweek 34.

The draft below would give managers good potential for the schedule ahead, including 11 options for Double Gameweek 34 without the use of transfers.

Waiting for the third best Arsenal option to emerge prior to their double Gameweek could be wise. Managers could also consider a planned transfer for Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze prior to Gameweek 34.

For managers who still have the Free Hit and intend to use it in Gameweek 34, then the following draft could work.

We also factor in the potential Gameweek 37 Double Gameweeks for Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Brighton, Manchester United and Arsenal.

This draft gives managers five players who are likely to double in Gameweek 35/36. It also gives us some of the best players with the most potential in the next several Gameweeks. In addition, looking ahead to Gameweek 37, it would give managers nine double Gameweek players.

Managers can then look at add to their Gameweek 37 double Gameweek player total with transfers. This could include the eventual transfer in of Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden. The gap could also allow time to figure out which Manchester City defender to bring in based on minutes and injuries.
