The new round of Fantasy Premier League is edging closer so we bring in four times top 10k manager @dmpwright. He reveals his team, shares his long-term plans, discusses his transfers and highlights captaincy ahead of the new round.

Our experts team reveal for Gameweek 30 could be a huge help for those struggling to make decisions in their own fantasy teams. We are approaching a tough period in FPL with both Blank and Double Gameweeks ahead. So, learning from one of the best could be vital for planning ahead.

Gameweek 30 Team Reveal (Subject to Change)

Notes

  • GW29 was a good week to have a bad week, as the saying goes! Despite only managing net 11 points after my eight-point hit, I only dropped a few-thousand places to an OR of ~18k.
  • Going into GW30, I am undecided on whether to play my wildcard or wait until GW31 and bring in Mohamed Salah with my one free transfer. Salah will likely be my captain this week irrespective of where I land with the wildcard.
  • At the moment, I am leaning towards activating my wildcard in GW30. This would allow me to address several defensive issues and bring in Salah but also Erling Haaland after their blanks in GW29.
  • With my Free Hit still in hand to navigate DGW34, I would have three players from Spurs and Chelsea on my wildcard. Other spots will be filled by GW37 doublers plus Salah. However, delaying the wildcard until GW31 also has its pros. It allows me to play triple Spurs against Luton and also avoids me having to field wildcard addition Bukayo Saka away to Manchester City.
  • If I don’t play my wildcard in GW30, I will line up with Martin Dúbravka in goal and Alfie Doughty, Pedro Porro and Charlie Taylor across the back. Gabriel and William Saliba will make the bench for their game against Manchester City. If Doughty (and/or Taylor) are ruled out then I will definitely activate my wildcard in GW30.
  • My non-wildcard midfield would remain unchanged. This is with the exception of Salah, with Jarrod Bowen making way.
  • I would start all five of Phil Foden, James Maddison, Cole Palmer, Son-Heung Min and Salah. Carlton Morris would also be benched given Luton’s tricky away trip to Spurs.
  • Upfront, Ivan Toney and Ollie Watkins would lead the line for my non-wildcard team. Keeping Watkins for Villa’s game against Wolves is another potential advantage of delaying my wildcard until GW31.

We put together some of the best differentials for Gameweek 30 right here.
