Picking out the players that look likely to score in an FPL gameweek is a big part of management. Using recent underlying stats from the Fantasy Football Scout, we assess which players are due a goal in Gameweek 30.

Some attackers are in great form over the last four Gameweeks:

With the latest round featuring only eight teams, our previous look at these underlying stats came before Gameweek 28. Four names have disappeared from that list but none are for good reasons.
As Free Hit 29 managers will very much know, Anthony Elanga and Ivan Toney blanked for their fourth and fifth successive outings. The latter falls slightly short of the nine-shot minimum.
Gabriel Martinelli hasn’t played since last time because of a foot injury and Arsenal’s Blank 29, whilst Danny Welbeck only has a 30-minute cameo over the recent three Gameweeks.
Meanwhile, four of the current six names have now been handed two matches in Double Gameweek 34. Luis Diaz could be a great way into Liverpool’s attack, seen as he’s started 14 of their last 15 league occasions. He was unlucky to only score once against Luton in Gameweek 25, having racked up 10 shots and four big chances.
Both Dominic Solanke and Beto have xG numbers affected by recent missed penalties and are about to face each other. The former eventually pleased Double Gameweek 28 captainers by scoring in the other match.
Wolves’ bargain midfielder Pablo Sarabia was quiet versus Fulham but had 12 shots in the preceding three outings. He soon has Burnley and Nottingham Forest trips, plus a double.
The final two only play once in Gameweek 34. Bruno Fernandes has an attacking return in three successive matches but Mohammed Kudus withdrew from Ghana duty with a slight knee issue.
