Gameweek 30 Best Free Hit Team

We take a look at the Gameweek 30 best free hit team. Using the Fantasy Football Scout members area we utilise the fixture ticker and underlying stats to build the best Free Hit. We also base the best Free hit team on team and player form.

The free hit chip in FPL allows managers, within the same budget and formational limits, to select a team for one particular Gameweek. Managers can attack any given Gameweek with the free hit whether that be to utilise a good set of fixtures, in-form teams or players or a mixture of it all.

Fixtures

Who has the best fixtures?

Fulham, Chelsea, Sheffield United, Tottenham and Nottingham Forest all rank amongst the top five teams with the best fixtures.

Who has the worst fixtures?

Brighton, Arsenal, Manchester City, Wolves and West Ham all rank amongst the bottom five teams worst fixtures.

Gameweek 30 Best Free Hit Team

Using Plan FPL we can use one of its fantastic tools to plan transfers weeks in advance. Not just this, but we can also create team drafts to plan for using a chip. Take a look at the best free hit team for Gameweek 30:

Goalkeepers

Fulham come up against the worst team in the league next up, Sheffield United. Bernd Leno (£4.8m) has picked up two returns in his last three matches due to clean sheets and he has a fantastic opportunity to pick up another one this week. In the unlikely event that Leno does not start then West Ham’ Alphonse Areola (£4.3m) can step in.

Defenders

Chelsea come up against Burnley this week, one of the worst attacking sides in the league. As well as clean sheet potential Malo Gusto (£4.2m) has also created two assists in his last three matches in all competitions.

Liverpool rank as the second best defence in the league so far this season with the second least goals conceded and the second most clean sheets kept. With Brighton up next, a team who have failed to score in three of their last five matches, Virgil Van Dijk (£6.5m) could have potential.

Tottenham have a lovely match against Luton next up which could bring clean sheet potential. However, Pedro Porro (£5.8m) ranks second best for assists created and second best for non-penalty expected goal involvement amongst all defenders this season.

On the bench is Tottenham full-back Destiny Udogie (£5m) and Diogo Dalot (£5.2m) who are unlikely to feature but have potential this week if they are needed.

Midfielders

Burnley also rank as one of the worst defences in the league so far and sit amongst the worst three sides for several key defensive metrics. Cole Palmer (£5.7m) has been an excellent asset in FPL so far this season – amassing a huge 20 attacking returns.

Liverpool remain top for lots of the key attacking metrics this season and they come up against Brighton next up. Although absent due to injury and AFCON, Mohamed Salah (£13.1m) has still produced a massive 24 attacking returns this campaign.

Crystal Palace have shown some improvements since bringing in the new manager. They face a meeting with a relegation battling Nottingham Forest and so talisman, set piece specialist and penalty taker Eberechi Eze (£6m) could have big potential.

Completing the quad midfield is Son Heung-Min (£10.1m) as he comes up against Luton. The Hatters have shipped nine goals in the last four matches which highlights them as a team to target. Son has been excellent recently – collecting 26 points in his last three matches.

Sitting first on the bench is Alejandro Garnacho (£4.9m). Manchester United face Brentford next up, a side who have conceded between 2-4 goals in all four of their last league matches. One way we could target the defence is this man who has managed three returns in his last four games.

Forwards

The Chelsea fixture against Burley is difficult to resist and so it could be hugely rewarding to double up on the frontline. Nicolas Jackson (£6.8m) is the second best Chelsea attacking option, having returned in each of his last three matches.

Aston Villa will be hoping to get a win on the board after failing to pick one up in their last two matches. Wolves have shown huge defensive inconsistencies as of late which is something Ollie Watkins (£9m) can take advantage of. Watkins remains the highest scoring player in the entire game which reflects how relentless he has been this season.

Fulham have a meeting with the worst defence in the league next up, Sheffield United. The Cottagers have netted at least two goals in three of their last four matches and a lot of that is due to Rodrigo Muniz (£4.6m) who has collected 26 points in his last three matches.
