FPL: Teams with the Best Fixtures after the Break

The international break is here and FPL doesn’t return until March 30th. However in this article we look at the schedule ahead and pick out teams with the best fixtures after the break. To do that we head over to the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area to use some of its fantastic tools.

With Double and Blank Gameweeks coming up it could be hugely beneficial to check out the teams with the best fixtures after the break. Knowing which teams to target can help with factors like transfers, captaincy and chip strategy.

Chelsea

Chelsea have been inconsistent recently – winning two, drawing two and losing two of their last six league matches. This type of form seems to be a trend this season for the Blues as they sit 11th currently.

However, Chelsea have some lovely fixtures between Gameweek 30-33. In that period they have meetings with Burnley, Manchester United, Sheffield United and Everton.

Two of Chelsea’ upcoming opposition, Burnley and Sheffield United, rank as two of the worst defensive and offensive sides in the league this season statistically. Everton may prove tougher opposition for the Blues but they are still without a win in their last 10 league matches.

Chelsea don’t just have a great schedule ahead but they also have a double in Gameweek 37 and a potential double earlier than that in Gameweek 35. With that in mind, Chelsea ease their way amongst the teams with best fixtures after the break.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth are another side who many FPL managers could flock to. Although frustrating over the course of their recent Double Gameweek, their fixtures may be tough to ignore.

In terms of form Bournemouth seem to have turned their recent slump around – winning two of their last three matches and drawing the other. During that period they also picked up one clean sheet and scored a huge eight goals.

As we can see, over the next four Gameweeks Bournemouth face Everton, Crystal, Luton, and Manchester United.

We already highlighted the poor form of Everton recently but Crystal Palace’ inconsistency and Luton ranking as one of the defences in the league this season could provide even more potential for the Bournemouth assets.

It could be worth mentioning that the Cherries also have a very likely double Gameweek in Gameweek 34 as well. This gives them even more appeal for the run ahead.

Liverpool

Liverpool may start to become a priority for FPL managers in the coming weeks. The Reds maintain brilliant form – winning four of their last six league matches, as they stay strong in their contention for the title.

Jurgen Klopp’ men aren’t just in the midst of some great results run but they also rank as one of the best attacking and defensive sides in the league this season statistically. They take that into the four matches below.

We can see that Liverpool face the inconsistent Brighton and Crystal Palace, as well as a tasty fixture against the worst side in league, Sheffield United. You will also notice that they come up against old rivals Manchester United, a side whom just knocked them out of the cup and a team they will want to act revenge upon.

Liverpool have four good fixtures with plenty of potential but they are also very likely to play both Fulham and Everton in Gameweek 34, joining several other teams with a Double potentially.

Arsenal

Arsenal are another side involved in title race. In terms of results things couldn’t be much better for the Gooners after winning all of their last six matches on the bounce.

During the six-match period above Arsenal managed to keep three clean sheets and score a massive 26 goals. That averages out at a mammoth 4.3 goals scored per game.

Seeing Manchester City as their next match could be alarming at first. However, taking into account their own form there is enough potential for their assets. They also come up against Luton, Brighton and Aston Villa after that, three sides showing huge inconsistencies in the last four games.

A lot of the Arsenal fixture appeal also comes from the fact they are very likely to double against Wolves and Chelsea in Gameweek 35.
