Serie A Fantasy Round 24 Top Picks

Round 23 saw wins for teams including Lecce, Bologna, Napoli, Atalanta and Roma. We also saw a massive fixture between Inter and Juventus end with the former winning 1-0. Now we look to our expert @FPL_Crisk as he provides us with the Serie A Fantasy Round 24 top picks.

Before we take a look at who makes the cut this week, we need to highlight how important this article could be for managers. Knowing who the Serie A Fantasy Round 24 top picks are could be hugely beneficial when it comes to mini-league position and overall rank. That is because it can help with things like transfers and captaincy.

Lukasz Skorupski (€5.0m – 16.2%)

With two games in the same week I can see some rotation at CB for Bologna. While his output has been lacklustre recently, a double Gameweek Round is never something to laugh about. With half time clean sheet points also on the table, the points can add up very quickly.

Elia Caprile (€4.6m – 5.0%)

It may be because of the new manager bounce, but Empoli in the last three games have only conceded one goal, to Juventus and from a set piece. Salernitana remain one of the worst attacks in the league. So, if there is one week to play the Empoli goalie, it’s this one.

Defenders – Gleison Bremer (€6.0m – 43.3%)

Danilo is suspended, so Bremer becomes the default option out of Juventus’ defense. He’s kind of a must: Torino defenders are mostly injured, Inter, Roma, Napoli and Milan face each other so the Brazilian becomes the main guy to count on by default.

Lucas Martinez Quarta (€5.4m – 9.6%)

Another doubler, another defensive player who can add up lots of points. Ranieri is suspended for the first game, which should make Martinez Quarta nailed for both fixtures after being subbed early in Lecce.

Midfielders – Nicolas Gonzalez (€6.4m – 31.9%)

He’s not 100% fit, but it’s clear that Fiorentina need their star player 100% in order to fight for a place in Europe next year. I’m expecting him to get about 140 minutes in two games, but it could be enough to put in some much needed work.

Charles De Ketelaere (€6.0m – 12.7%)

After a disappointing season in Milan, he really seems to have found his confidence. Five returns for him in the last three games, and with Lookman still busy with AFCON the Belgian 22 year old is guaranteed minutes and could score and assist.

Forward – Joshua Zirkzee (€5.2m – 30.0%)

It was very predictable, but one of the top five strikers in the game with a double fixtures is indeed featuring on the “best picks” list. He scored against Milan and had his goal overturned into an own goal-assist against Sassuolo, so I am expecting returns to keep on coming.

Duvan Zapata (€7.6m – 12.2%)

A bit of an underrated pick. Zapata is the main man for Torino, and with a double on the horizon in two weeks’ time, he might not be the worst overall option. Sassuolo’s defense is also between the worst in the league, so he’s gonna be more likely to produce returns.
