Which players are due a goal in Gameweek 15?
Picking out the players that look likely to score in an FPL gameweek is a big part of management. Using recent underlying stats from the Fantasy Football Scout, we assess which players are due a goal in Gameweek 15.

However, others are shooting and getting in the right places without having either luck or end product. So let’s look at the players who have met the following criteria over these four Gameweeks:
- No more than one goal
- At least eight shots
- At least two big chances
- An expected goals (xG) tally of 1.00
- An expected goal involvement (xGI) of 1.20

Although 38 goals were scored over the weekend at a rate of 3.8 per match, none of last week’s four names bagged any of them.
In fairness – as we quickly head into the midweek of Gameweek 15 – two of them were restricted to short cameos. Luis Sinisterra was on for 19 minutes, with Richarlison around for three.

Therefore the four players are still due some success. Darwin Nunez is a mainstay in this article but surely this would end at home to Fulham, right? A notable number of managers brought him in for injury doubt Ollie Watkins but, obviously, Watkins started and hauled while the Uruguayan avoided all four Liverpool goals.
Over 800,000 transferred Bryan Mbeumo in for the supposedly irresistible hosting of Luton. Although he avoided the ‘Luton trap’ that recently saw Watkins, Mohamed Salah, Son Heung-min and Bruno Fernandes blank against the Hatters, the Brentford attacker could only register an assist. He had four shots.
Elsewhere, the pair of new entries come from Arsenal. Neither Gabriel Jesus nor Leandro Trossard could provide versus Wolves, despite the latter racking up five shots. Two were labelled as ‘big chances’, with two on target. The Belgian was Gameweek 14’s second-biggest xG underachiever (-0.75).
